Pretty sure it's the 2009 film they'll be showing. DigiGuide makes this mistake all of the time when data is missing. It just assumes certain things based on data already in the system.
Oh, I agree. It just amused me when I saw the entry. I wouldn't imagine for a moment that C4 would show in the evening, what has basically become an afternoon film.

Wonder what day it'll air? Sundays are out due to Homeland, maybe a weekday or Saturday.

Most likely Saturday, that's been the night for premieres as of late.

Don't count Sundays out, the post-Homeland slot is where Inglorious Basterds (I think) and Law Abiding Citizen The Final Destination premiered.

Well, not while Friday Night Dinner is on. 10.30 is too late to start a major premiere, but you could get away with 10pm.

It's pretty bad (I don't rate Neeson as an action star - Taken was bad, but Unknown was okay), but I'm amazed they're not making a second. The film made almost all of its budget back at the cinema, so home formats will provide more than enough to cover marketing costs.

Yes I don't really see Neeson as Hannibal, but the film is fun and Five ruin films when they show them, with IPPs, News breaks and their DOG.

P.s. I liked Taken, the best bit is when he is on the phone to his daughter and he tells her she is going to be kidnapped.

Why aren't they showng Paranormal Activity yet? It's been three years and Halloween is coming up.

Five haven't got a clue about anything 24/7.

When do you think we will get the movie premiers of

Paranormal Activity
Sherlock Holmes
Harry Potter 7 part 1
The Hangover
2012
Angels and Demons
Toy Story 3
Shrek 4
and Iron Man 2

Also with the news that Sky have got the harry potter movies is there a chance that some of these big film premiers might never make it on to terrestrial tv

No idea - but the terrestrial broadcasters move away from showing big blockbusters has seen an obvious increase in Lovefilm and Netflix (and Sky to a certain extent).

Infact, Lovefilm (and Netflix I guess) are a great source for watching movies old, and new - I pay £10 a month and get through 12-15 films with blockbusters, world cinema and films from down through the decades available. I have seen dozens and dozens of films on there that will poss. never be screened (or not screened in a long time) on terrestrial.

Paranormal Activity (Icon) - I believe the BBC hold the rights, probably around Christmas (like most of their other premieres)
Sherlock Homes, Harry Potter 7 (pt. 1), The Hangover (Warner Bros.) - ITV hold the rights (with the possible exception of Harry Potter), god knows when we'll get those...
2012, Angels and Demons (Columbia) - Channel 5, expect a 3 year gap after theatrical release...
Toy Story 3 (Walt Disney) - BBC, due to Disney Cinemagic, expect a three year gap after theatrical release
Shrek 4 (Dreamworks Animation) - BBC, probably this christmas
Iron Man 2 (Paramount) - Channel 4, early next year?

They've missed a trick with Halloween.

Surely ITV would have Harry Potter since they have the first 6?

2012, Angels and Demons (Columbia) - Channel 5, expect a 3 year gap after theatrical release...
A&D was May 2009, so that's over time, and 2012 was Nov 2009, so can't be far off. To not show it DURING 2012 would be stupid, although this is C5 we're talking about...

And not to show it in OAR would be even more stupid.

Has The Dark Knight had a terrestrial premiere yet?
Nope.

So why is it that the terrestrial channels take so long for the movies to come on air. Take The Dark Night for example why has it taken this long for them to show that movie.
