Have channel 4 struck some kind of deal to show the cheap-o animated films like Space Chimps and Planet 51, I had the latter down as more likely to be a big christmas day BBC premier.
I agree, why are Channel 4 showing all these rubbish animated films? But I don't understand, why did you think that a shitty movie would be BBC's big Christmas day premiere?

Planet 51 is actually a pretty decent film. The animation is quite good, the jokes are funny and it has a pretty capable voice cast. Not sure why it was overlooked when it was released.

Yes, that would be the output deals with 20th Century Fox (Space Chimps) and Entertainment Film Distributors (Planet 51)....

Mr Sirs, I have REC 2 down as 16th December 00:40-02:20 (Sunday morning)

None of the BBC Two premieres are being shown on the BBC HD channel.

Young Victoria on January 4 is on both BBC Two and BBC HD, but not sure if it's a premiere.

FRIDAY 28TH THE GIRL WHO PLAYED WITH FIRE (2009), Channel 4, 12.00-2.30am (Saturday)

SATURDAY 29TH - THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST (2009), Channel 4, 12.00-2.25am (Sunday).
Midnight?? Can't they make it a bit later, in case the last viewer hasn't fallen asleep yet(?)

And how come they're not showing the third film?

... I mean, where's Dragon Tattoo? They haven't shown that yet.

... Just checked - it's a C4 premiere on Boxing Day at 10.30pm. I know it's not a terrestrial premiere, but it would've been worth a mention.

I mentioned it, it was determined as not needing inclusion.

Friday 14th December - Pokémon the Movie: Black - Victini and Reshiram - 4/00pm-5.55pm, CITV

Right let's try the edit again that I was previously going to do, but got half posted for some reason

Saturday 22nd December

Space Chimps has now been pulled
Four Christmases is now listed as 9.00pm-10.40pm
Rare Exports is now listed as 1.00am-2.20am

Sunday 23rd December
Now i'm not sure about this, as i've not known BBC1 to carry TV movies, especially in primetime, closer to the time it maybe listed as a one off drama, at the moment it's listed as TV movie, anyway.

Loving Miss Hatto (2012), 8.30pm-10.00pm, BBC1

Christmas Day

Shrek 4 is now listed as 3.10pm-4.35pm
Tangled is now listed as 3.10pm-5.00pm

Boxing Day

HTTYD is now listed as 5.00pm-6.30pm
Alice in Wonderland is now listed as 6.50pm-8.30pm
Wuthering Heights has been pulled

Thursday 27th December

Astro Boy is now listed as 11.50am-1.35pm
City of Ember is now listed as 1.35pm-3.25pm
Secretariat is now listed as 3.05pm-4.55pm
The Sorcerer's Apprentice has been pulled
The Girl Who Played with Fire has been moved forward a day, 12.10am-2.25am (Thursday night/Friday morning)
In this case THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO follows suit, airing a day earlier than previously thought.

Friday 28th December

Planet 51 is now listed as 11.05am-12.45pm
The Sorcerer's Apprentice has been moved to this day, 3.30pm-5.10pm
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest also moved forward a day, 12.45am-3.10am (Friday night/Saturday morning)

Saturday 29th December

Space Chimps now listed for this day instead, 8.45am-10.35am
Wuthering Heights follows suit, now listed as 11.10pm-1.35am - See side note below
(However, it's gone from being listed as a premiere from 1992 to a premiere from 1939, yet the synopsis indicates otherwise, saying Kaya Scodelario is playing Cathy, she was barely born in 92, not sure about 1939, anyway, the film is from 2011 on further research)

Friday 4th January

The Young Victoria, 8.50pm-10.30pm, BBC2

Wow seem to be a few good films on, mainly family friendly, so that's us sorted out this year.

I wonder if these changes have any impact on why I can't find a copy of the Radio Times Christmas edition?

Well done by the way for all those who have posted the films this year it's been a big help in finding new things to watch and for all the updates when last minute changes have gone through.

I'd like to know why Spider-man 3 hasn't been on TV yet. Isn't it well past due?

Didn't know that. Just checked DigiGuide and it's been on Sony Entertainment TV 3 times in the last year (1 in Jan, 2 in March) (But then we only just the channel on VM a short time ago.)

Maybe they did a swap with ITV! They said "If you give us Happy Feet, we'll give you Tangled!" Or not!

Spider-Man 3 has been on a frew times, all the good Venom bits cut out by C5

Expect the Kyurem Pokemon movie to be on next year on CITV at some point.

Arrietty, looking forward to this.

Catfish has aired a couple of times on More4.

Lady and the Tramp confirmed as a premiere in the printed Radio Times Xmas Guide, why's it been removed?

I guess ITV's deal with Warner Bros has run out, a lot of the back catalogue like Catwoman, Last Samurai etc have been shown on Channel 5 as well as a handful of films on BBC One like Poseidon and Superman Returns, I wonder if they'll renew it or if another channel like Channel 4 or Channel 5 will get it as their 2009 films apart from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has yet to receive their terrestrial debut.

I don't know what the deal is but ITV signed a deal to show WB content such as films and The Vampire Diaries exclusively, yet Superman Returns has always been on BBC1/3, while Superman and Superman II have always swapped between ITV and Channel 5.
