Still don't see why Karate Kid (2010) isn't on TV yet.

Only C5 could completely stuff up not scheduling 2012 for DURING 2012, let alone at the time of the Mayan prophecy!

I agree! Why do they wait so long! If movies are available then they should show them ASAP! I think Channel 4 are best at that. Showing 2012 on the 21st December would've been a wise move.

We don't know what their rights allow so we can't really criticise. I doubt 2012 has been sat gathering dust on the shelf, it's likely they can't show it yet. Quite a bad film anyway, to be fair.

Let's face it, they're doing everyone a favour by not showing 2012... (Though I am surprised Sony have tried to make a sequel yet, "2013" anyone?)

OMG the Iron Lady already! Yay! It was released here on the 6th January 2012, so it took exactly one year to premiere!

EDIT: Ah, it's a Film4 production.

April/May? Films generally take about 2 1/2 years to appear now so wouldn't be surprised to get part 2 as a Xmas premiere as well. Or ITV will wait and premiere them together.

Too much money riding on it. I'd say premiere part 1 as soon as they can, and then part 2 further down the line preceeded by a repeat of part 1.

I think ITV should premiere Part 1 around BGT time, April/May! Looking forward to it Can someone confirm that ITV will be showing them, because I read something about Sky having the rights?

Wan't that just for a short period though? Seem to recall reading that it was just to encompass the premiere of Part 8 and Xmas. They should be back on normal TV before long.

I thought Sky had purchased Pay TV rights for all Warner Brothers films, with ITV still possibly holding terrestrial premières...

they have got first run rights and can show WB films around 6 months after their cinema run,i suspect that the terrestrial deal is still in place with ITV

im sure i read the Harry Potter deal was only for Christmas, but if that gets extended i suppose is down to if Sky Flashes the cash
