April/May also has 3 bank holiday weekends and they do like to schedule premieres during those. Easter would probably be the best bet as it's very early this year (first weekend in April) so it's unlikely that people will be outside having BBQ's and stuff.

The predicted weather forecast for Spring/Summer is:

Spring: Unusually warm with prolonged dry spells and above average temperatures. Rainfall is expected to be much lower than average.

Summer: Temperatures around average with some areas slightly below average, mainly in the North. Rainfall expected to be above average.

So an Easter Weekend BBQ may be possible.

The last time a movie premiered on Easter Monday was in 2008 and that was King Arthur on BBC1. It is not common anymore for premieres to be shown at Easter and/or other Bank Holidays.

Thanks again for the update. I often wondered what the extraordinary adventures were, as we didn't seem to get any in this film.

I wonder if they'll finally have new HD prints in 2.35:1, or the usual crappy 16:9-cropped ones which run for the first 5 films.

This has been replaced now by another premiere Piranha [2010] (Not 3D, obviously!).

And a few days later on February 15, they will be screening The Losers [2010] starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Luther's Idris Elba for the first time.

There's room for a female Indiana Jones, but we have it in Lara Croft already, and that's better as a videogame.

There's a 2012 film, Complicit, on Sun 17th Feb, C4 at 9pm. Not sure if it's a made-for-TV movie, although C4 don't often do that at primetime, so it could be a Film4 one.

I think its one of those feature length dramas that Channel 4 seem to show from time to time.
