Thanks very much for the info. I saw a trailer for it later on, so it's definitely a feature-length drama rather than a film.

I will too, but I'm just hoping it's not as piss-poor as Scott's remake of Pelham 123. I don't think Denzel can act his way out of a paper bag, so that doesn't help in either case.

Got to agree the remake of Pelham 123 was disappointing. I rented Unstoppable last year from Lovefilm - it's fine and entertaining enough - if you just tell your brain not to purchase a ticket for the ride!

It's nothing special just your typical action movie.

Ta. I just hope it's back to form for him, although sadly, we won't get any more films from him.

There hasn't been anything good for ages! The last good premiere was the Iron Lady, way back on Jan 6th.

Channel 4 has quite a few premieres coming up like Limitless, they've got output deals with smaller studios like Momentum and Studiocanal UK along with Fox, I've noticed they've yet to show any Paramount films like Iron Man 2 which makes me wonder whether that deal has run out. Channel 5 have been showing the Lionsgate films like Saw and Piranha,

Made In Dagenham airs on BBC2 next month (March). Maybe not everyone's cup of tea () but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm in two minds about this. I thought it was from BBC Films, but it would've popped up sooner.

Also, the trailer is cropped to 16:9, whereas the film is 2.35:1, so I don't know if they've just done that for the trailer for some reason, or whether they've got a crap version of it (which was the case for Tamara Drewe, which was a BBC Films film)

Iron Man 2 may not premiere on Channel 4. Iron Man (and presumably Iron Man 2) were self-financed by Marvel with Paramount acquiring distribution rights.

When Marvel was acquired by Disney, Disney made an agreement with Paramount for the rights to The Avengers and Iron Man, which meant Disney giving 8-9% of box office to Paramount and was why the Paramount logo will appear at the beginning of The Avengers and Iron Man 3, instead of the Disney logo.

Since Disney have begun distributing an Avengers Assemble 6 Film boxset with the previous films of all 5 characters, they must have reached a deal with Paramount (and Universal) for distribution rights of some kind.
