Great info, but I have a question! If ITV have 20th century Fox movies from before 2009, why does channel 4 show the Simpsons Movie (2007)?
I guessed the date and was out by three years (It was based on Ice Age 2 being the most recent Fox film ITV show and I thought Ice Age 2 was 2009 when it's actually 2006, sorry guys )

Here's an updated list:
BBC - Ardman Animation, BBC Films, DreamWorks, DreamWorks Animation, Pathe Pictures, Walt Disney (inc. Disney Channel Original Movies, DreamWorks, Pixar, Touchstone)
ITV - 20th Century Fox (pre 2006, repeat rights retained), Universal Pictures, Warner Bros..
Channel 4 - 20th Century Fox (post 2006 inc. Fox Searchlight), Film4 Productions, New Line Cinema, Paramount Pictures, StudioCanal, Summit Entertainment
Channel 5 - Sony Pictures (aka. Columbia & TriStar, inc. Sony Pictures Animation)

[DreamWorks appears twice because pre 2011 it's films were distributed by Paramount and televised on the BBC, 2011 and beyond its films are distributed by Disney, also on the BBC]

Or indeed Titanic (1997)... Which they have repeated several times over. Including all of the Alien movies too.

Has anyone else noticed ITV2 has aired The Bourne Identity & The Bourne Supremacy about 6 times each this year? and that is not including the ITV2+1 airings!

I don't the specifics of the deal, this was just a general observation based list, so please don't keep asking questions I don't know the answer to. But it's possible the deal included repeat rights to old Fox films or it's possible that Titanic is covered by a separate deal I don't know about.

I think they have a three month film schedule and air it on a loop all year, cos if I had a quid for everytime they've shown Hot Fuzz I'd be a billionaire...

Feels as though they've been on more times than that. Along with the Bridget Jones movies.

Bizarrely Practical Magic was one of, if not the most, repeated films of 2011, racking up 9 screenings in total excluding +1 across ITV1, ITV2, Channel 5 and 5*.

It's on ITV1 again next week!

Fame - BBFC: PG - C4 - 21/01/2012 - 18:05
Starring: Kay Panabaker, Asher Book
Director: Kevin Tancharoen
Rotten Tomatoes: 25%

(2009) Kay Panabaker and Asher Book star in this update of Alan Parker's 1980 musical about a group of young showbiz wannabes who have enroled at the New York Academy of Performing Arts.

127 Hours - BBFC: 15 - C4 - 22/01/2012 - 21:00
Starring: James Franco
Director: Danny Boyle
Rotten Tomatoes: 93% - Certified Fresh

(2011) Danny Boyle's fact-based drama stars James Franco as a solo mountain climber who gets into a life-threatening predicament and takes a desperate, gory measure to extricate himself.

Just over a year after it's UK theatrical release, gotta love Channel 4...

Wasn't 127 hours made by the film 4 comany. So it's not surprising it's out so quick

It received some funding from Film4, like most Danny Boyle films. So, It's not surprising, but normally it's a year and a half not a year and 14 days...

The Dark Knight has already been on TV 3 and TG 4 in Ireland, any sign of the UK premiere yet? It should be on ITV 1 as they seem to have a deal with Warner Bros. at the moment, but the odd Warner film still pops up on Channel 4 and Channel 5 so who knows...? I would put my money on ITV 1 showing it, but when? It was shown terrestrially in Ireland about 6 months ago!

Paramount co-funded the film and have certain international rights, so it is possible these screenings come under their deal.

Have a quick question: What channel would The King's Speech be on? I'd love it to be on BBC or ITV. I'd like it to premiere the first Christmas when Charles is King. The reason I'd want this to happen is so that they could have the King's Speech at 3pm (the Xmas speech) and then the movie at 3.10pm! So the listings would look like this:

3.00pm- The King's Speech
3.10pm- The King's Speech

I bet that doesn't make any sense at all does it?

LOL - like it! Seriously though, it will depend on who has the rights to the film studio. And it should be available to terrestrial tv long before the Queen abdicates/dies!

Isn't The House Bunny a 12 or 15? Typical Channel 5 putting films where they shouldn't be and editing them to suit.

Also, ITV must still have some sort of deal with 20th Century Fox, otherwise how could they show Mrs Doubtfire last year in 2.35:1 and in HD and also have shown the 6 Star Wars movies too. Heck, Channel 5 also have shown a few 20th Century Fox movies too so they must have some sort of deal with Fox as well.

No, Channel 5 have recently been airing 12s uncut as early as 1PM on a Saturday afternoon. Most noticeably, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, which included a few 'P*** Off's and 'S***'s, all of which, to my knowledge, were left uncut,

ITV has a pre-2006 (approximately) contract with Fox, which includes repeats of those films. Channel 5 has repeat deals on a per-film basis, except with Columbia Pictures, where they have a première and repeat rights for all films output by the studio.

BTW folks, Channel 4 were supposed to show The Final Destination last Sunday but pulled it from the listings as early as it was put in, as Channel 4 are airing Final Destination 3 this weekend that could be considered that the sequel isn't far behind.
