It'll be on ITV, but it's a mystery why they are leaving it this long to show it. I won't be watching it when they premiere it anyway, as it will most definitely be cropped and choc full of adverts and split for the news. No thanks.

Sorority Row was originally supposed to be on this weekend on C4 but they've removed it from the schedule and replaced it, looks like C4 do this quite often. Anyway, more i've found.

Both of these subject to change because it's Channel 4 >_>

Saturday 24th March
11.05pm-2am - Jennifer's Body (Extra hour of viewing due to clock change, I wouldn't bother with this at all, awful film)

Sunday 25th March
5.50pm-9pm - Avatar

The last time ITV1 aired Batman Begins it was treated rather well and didn't go into a commercial until an hour of the film had aired. As for TDK, when I was waiting for BB to show up on ITV, it didn't arrive until 2009, so expect a similar four year gap for TDK, I don't know why either, as they seem to like getting the HP films on as quick as they can. HP6 for example they showed on NYD, a little over two years over it's release date in the cinemas.

Sunday 25th March
5.50pm-9pm - Avatar
Don't you mean 4.50pm-9pm? If it was 5.50pm the film would be heavily edited.

The main version of the film is 162 mins long (TV versions usually remove credits so are shorter), they have an 190 min slot that's 28 mins of adverts, which is about right for Channel 4 (asumming 5 mins of ads for 30 mins of filn is average - taken from a late night Film4 showing of Bruno so it might not be correct)

Please ignore, I've just checked and my calculations are highly out. You probably correct about the timeslot being too short for Avatar

Channel 4 always wait till at least 10PM to show 18s. The earliest they could've put it on was an hour early, but that would involve bumping Homeland and the film would still run on quite late anyway (I thought a 3 hour slot was taking the mic, but they can't control how long QT makes his films)

Doesn't Avatar have at least 1 F word in it and a bit of sex and violence? I guess we won't be seeing the full version then if it's being shown at teatime.

Channel4.com only has listings up to Friday 23rd March on display, Channel 4 is blank for the weekend but other C4 channels have listings. I suppose we will know in the next day or two what time Avatar actually starts at.

It's only a 12, so violence and sex probably aren't a problem, however the F word may cause issue. I imagine Channel 4 have quite a strong case of contextual justification if anyone complains though...
