Our Freeview recorder has only 15hrs left out of 80! Need to get watching stuff over the next week as I have already marked a number of things off in the tv guide!

What are you talking about? In the Avengers thread, you explicitly state that nothing was cut. Are you mental?

I think there may be a dash of sarcasm there, they probably got the wrong thread my mistake...

As has previously been discussed on several threads. Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger are owned by Paramount, The Incredible Hulk is owned by Universal and all the films from Marvel Avengers Assemble onwards are owned by Disney.

Look at the way I phrased it, I phrased it to mean they cut absolutely nothing.

Pardon me for butting in guys. Don't normally post in here but have a relevant question for you.

Whilst watching "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" the other day I realised that "Dark Of The Moon" has (unless I missed it?!) not yet been on TV. But it was made in 2011 so shouldn't it have been on by now?

Thanks.

(PS Comments on my choice of movie not required )

As previously discussed in relation to the Marvel films, it looks like C4's Paramount deal expired and nobody else acquired it...

Also, the fact you have to make that closing comment, suggests you know just how wrong you are. And having sat through Transformers 3, don't do this to yourself. The first one was trashy fun, the third is just torture...

I wouldn't be surprised if Channel 5 ends up airing the Paramount films, they've started showing older titles like Forrest Gump, Zulu and The Italian Job so it's only a matter of time before the newer titles turn up.

Don't know if it's a movie premier or not but it is an epic. Did anyone see it?

Come on, Ben Hur has been shown umpteen times. I still have a VHS copy that I recorded from BBC2 over twenty years ago!

I see ITV1 are showing Skyfall again next Saturday.

9:20pm - 11:05pm
ITN News
11:20pm - 12:20am

That adds up to 2hrs 45mins just like the previous showing but it is after the watershed so will they cut loads out again?

I didn't notice any cuts during the Dark Knight the other day.

Depends if they've only bought one print. If so then it'll be the same as Christmas Eve.

I imagine ITV were given the full film and edited it in house as they saw fit. Perhaps they got complaints and are giving the film a post-watershed airing now with the F word and some violence restored?

Did they show it in 2.35:1 on Christmas Eve?
