Well when you put it at 2am with zero advertising, its not really all that surprising that no one see's it
I'm fairly certain you could put it on at any time and it would get the same figures. Anime just isn't that popular over here...

Channel 4 for early morning movies are awesome, less commercials than normal, and shorter breaks too.

Speaking of old Warner Bros films being on other channels, and saying older ones get distributed everywhere, that sorta isn't the case, BBC aired Superman Returns premiere and still might have the rights, ITV can't have had an exclusivity deal with WB at the time I'm guessing, perhaps had it later.

I'm sure that BBC One will have exclusive rights to Universal's King Kong (2005) for Easter once ITV's rights expired.

The most recent ones, ITV have had their package for what seems like years. They were on previously on the BBC.

It has only include Fast Five and The Grinch, not King Kong (which is still on ITV until March 2015, then BBC1 have the rights after that)

I still don't know how Superman Returns ended up on the BBC. Maybe ITV didn't fancy it?

How do you know they'll go to The BBC and not another channel?

True Grit (2010) coming to BBC2 for Sunday 1st February, 10pm-11.45pm. It's currently listed as the John Wayne version of which BBC don't have the rights, nor would they be airing the 1969 version Sunday at 10pm, that and it's the length of the 2010 version and not the 1969 version in the listings.

That's good as I missed this remake the last time BBC2 showed it. Is it technically a Paramount film?

Yes. I wanted to see it and missed it. Not this time. Was surprised it was on BBC as it was a Paramount film.

One would assume it's the new BFI restoration, did they show The Great White Silence as well? Because one would have thought they'd make a good double bill for BBC Four...
