They're under the Disney banner now.

Not all of them, Star Wars (as in the first film in the original trilogy) resides with Fox indefinitely on "all media", and the rest of the Star Wars films are with Fox until 2020.

I think Paramount reached an agreement with Disney over Indiana Jones.

Regarding the Looper premiere, it's moved from 9pm, and there are regional variations

9.05pm-10.50pm - England and NI
9.35pm-11.25pm - Wales
10.05pm-11.50pm - Scotland

Well that will screw up the ratings for Looper. Was there any promotion for Fright Night on BBC3?

Don't think so, wasn't aware it was on.

Channel 4 just confirmed Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012) would now air Thurs the 2nd of April, 9pm-11.20pm, won't be able to watch it on the night because Inside No 9 is on, oh well.

I meant all the pre-existing Star Wars films, which (with the exception of the first) are all owned by Lucasfilm, but distribution rights remain with Fox until 2020.

I assumed the release date of the films included was somewhat implicit.

I understand the BBC is going for a Lucasfilm deal due to Indiana Jones in which is still on BBC1. However, ITV ended the Lucasfilm deal in 2014 so the BBC might start showing Star Wars films later this year.

Just one more notice that i ask Lucasfilm to seperate distribution rights to all Star Wars films a short time ago.

Disney will have UK rights from Fox by May 2015 and they will continue to own US rights until May 2020, according to my suggestions while i sending it an email moments ago. A New Hope will count in the UK only.

The Dark Crystal (1982) is airing on Easter Monday on Channel 4, 12.15pm-2.10pm, it's advertised as a first showing on C4, anyone know if it's a terrestrial premiere?

I'm sure that was on BBC2 a few times in the late 80's early 90's

On my epg I can see that BBC2 are showing Dream House with Daniel Craig next Sunday. That's a network premiere. Who made it though? Universal, Morgan Creek or Warner Brothers?

I'm trying to workout who the BBC did a deal with as Warner Brothers are ITV I think. Having said that Channel 5 are showing Happy Feet so God knows who has what.

They did! In the old days you knew where you were with channels and movie deals. It's all very confusing now.

I'm guessing film deals are done on a film to film basis these days rather than a block load with a studio the way films are on different channels these days

I doubt it's quite film to film, they rarely sell them like that in the US market, but I could see them selling them as bundles of a few films at a time, which might explain why Sony's films are all over the place.

Ah, didn't see that, Digiguide had it listed as a documentary and coloured white, so overlooked it.

Rise of the Guardians (2012), Easter Saturday 4th April, 5.15pm-6.40pm, BBC1

EXCELLENT! The Alan Partridge movie is very funny and is a BBC film. Great Expectations might be as well.

ITV have the rights to The Hobbit (Part 1 at least) and are airing it this year:

Airing in June according to their advertising email. Was this expected?
