THU 5TH:-
ERASED (2012) Channel 5 10:00pm-12:00am (+1 11:00pm-1:00am) IMDb Link
When I checked this one out I thought I recognised the synopsis. It's on Netflix as "The Expatriate" (as mentioned in the 'AKAs' in the IMDB link )

The Inbetweeners 2 movie last night appeared to be the original uncut 18 version as there were scenes in it that were removed prior to release to ensure a UK 15 cinema rating, and that cut version was used worldwide for the theatrical release.

I imagine as Film4 produced it they can show any version they like, what was shown extra?

Thanks for the confirmation. I hadn't seen it before, but...

I imagine as Film4 produced it they can show any version they like, what was shown extra?
...they generally show cinema versions as a rule. They did with the first Inbetweeners film.

God job I didn't see I2 in the cinema, since about 20 mins from the end when one of them was getting a drop of a certain drink, I went "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!" I would've been chased out the cinema for that

Here we go again then:-

SUN. 6TH:-

DJANGO UNCHAINED (2012) Channel 5 10.00pm-1.10am (+1 11.00pm-2.10am)
I figured that'd have to be on at 10pm as it's an 18-cert (not that that stopped I2, above), but either way, on C5, there's a chance it'll be "ANGO UNCHAI"...

Channel 4 with an unusual premiere here with a Disney animated classic, I don't think it's the live action version of old they've shown before because that overruns the timeslot, but we'll see. Also odd they didn't save this for Christmas.

The Jungle Book (1967), Sunday 6th December, 5.25pm-7pm

Red 2 was pulled from the schedule, it's perhaps because of it's Paris setting, that being said I was watching The Running Man on Film4 the other night, with a scene involving Arnie shooting at a crowd of civilians within a cityscape, so confusing why that wasn't pulled as we;; in this instance. ITV2 apparently pulled Kindergarten Cop from scheduling last weekend.

Red 2 was on here.

On the Paris topic, while I know it's not TV, I watched Spy last Saturday and, early on, there's a terrorist incident in Paris. My inner voice went all 'Daily Mail' for a second

So did Red 2 actually air on Channel 4? There's mixed opinion in this thread. It was down as Red (2010) on the Sky EPG, so the original, not the sequel.

I stand erected. As I flicked passed it, I saw a scene with Bruce Willis talking to Mary Louise Parker on the phone and thought it was her reconnecting with her in Red 2, but now I realised that's the first one.

Honestly, if C4 had only made it clear with a big DOG: "We've cancelled Red 2 due to the Paris Attacks, so Red's on instead and Red 2 will be on in December." !

This is such stupidity by schedulers. It's not as if, by December, all those murdered will have come back to life and everything is fine(!)

If that's the very first one then I watched that premiered on The Syfy Channel. Either way it is a good film, not as gut-wrenching as you might think. Some of the later Saw movies are far more disturbing.
