London Life RPG not included with EU Layton: Spectre's Call.
The game launches here on 21st November
But, presumably to pay us back for Xenoblade, we will apparently not be getting the accompanying 100 hour RPG "London Life" - even though it's set in our country - and it will be released in the US one month earlier, on 17th October. Good news, though, it's a region-free DS (not a 3DS) game - so import ahoy. ![]() http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...ife-is-us-only |

Just read further, and I think some people may be overreacting.
Nintendo's statement was: Quote:

Yep, just as I predicted, London Life has been confirmed for Europe.

Oh, and now, it appears it isn't after all. *sigh*
http://www.officialnintendomagazine....ing-to-europe/ But as I said, there's the import option - no need to start an Operation Londonfall or anything.

I think a 100 hr+ game is worth the extra pennies of the import cost. Wonder why it isn't included though. Maybe the Americans bribed Nintendo/Level-5 to leave it out of our version because we got Eternal Diva before them (clutching at straws here)

So, has anyone imported the US version?
Is London Life worth the extra hassle? |

It is only 100 hours if you like it though, most reports I have read talked of being bored by it after very little play. |

Digging up a thread that's exactly a year old here!
To those who bought the US version, is it worth it for London Life? I ask because my DS Lite is on its last legs and I'm thinking of replacing it with a DSi as I'd supposedly be able to get online without messing with my router settings. I recall, however, that a DSi won't play US versions of games. In addition, are the characters all American in the US version and are there any puzzles which are more difficult in this version for Brits due American terminology or anything? |
