That week I was in a tizz, knew he was singing that song but I was on mum pick up duty that eve
Desp not to miss it everything went a bit Pete Tong BUT I got back infront of the tv set, door closed, on my own JUST in the nick of time (there is a god). For me didnt mind the outfit (thought oh, Paddington Bear), you could just see he was putting everything, every last ounce into it, the notes and range were incredible and as for that ending note (I'd twigged he was going up the range and thought, christ just how high is he going to get!!!). What really, really got to me was the reaction after he finished.....sharp intake of breath at that point and I was talking to the tv set (again). As for the comments, spot on partic Cheryl, bless her And rest they say is history....................LOL Hearing that song sang live, with extra verses was just wonderful, had to lean on OH for support

LOL driven snow 'driven snow' think about it once snow has been driven on or over it is no longer
............. Fall off pedistal LOL sorry I have not got one at the moment did have at one time though I fell off it years ago. LOL

Very true Cat. Though the voting for him should pick up after Monday when people have had the chance to hear his single and with all the promotion around it.

Yep agree Paddington bless ...............his vioce well it still leaves me speachless Cheryl bless her knew he was a winner lets face it none of the others would have been able to manage that song. ................Your riught Pie hearing that song live was just ootw what a voice.

Blimey I go away for one day and you've moved house and racked up 14 pages! I am now in the bonny north, had a look at Matt's bit in the paper, quite amusing I looked out for Ironworks yesterday when I went through Inverness but didn't see it.
I'm a but surprised about that tweet, I thought they'd already know what was going to be on the album!

Aw, I remember watching this. I was pretty nervous that week cos he was doing that song, as a Britney fan I'd never heard a cover of it I liked but he totally impressed me.
Then the following week I was nervous again for Bleeding Love and he blew me away again! I don't even like that song and now it's on my mp3 player!
Then the following week, nervous again! I thought it was a mistake to do the song he'd done so well at before again, I thought it'd ruin it. But it was even better! After that I knew he'd never let me down and I stopped worrying
