Evening chaps ,
I've been out for a few hours and seem to have missed plenty! While catching up on twitter, I actually gaped at that tweet from the unprepared journo! How rude! I'd be embarrassed to admit that I'd done so little research.

And Ella, I did read that tweet to you as being a tad unkind. Soz honey.

I'm a bit disappointed that these interviews seem to have been done over the phone. I was hoping for some video footage of him.

A call for help. I'm not on Facebook and on my iPhone links to fb just come up with the log in page. Can anyone tell me what the photo today from the video was?

JaMaK, if you are worried about the Coldplay bit, I'm still smarting about Sir Gary of Barlow. While I don't think Chris Martin's voice is a patch on Matt, CP certainly know how to write songs with fabulous hooks. James Morrisson has a good voice but I've never bought any of his stuff. This "guitars" mention is the most exciting part of it because that guitars sound is the best bit about Seven Summers for me (apart from Matt of course).

aww thanks hun, I just feel really silly, I mean I should have known not to send same questions to same interviewers .. makes sense but she/he didn't need to be rude. Then again.. the problem with text is tyou can never fully get how its coming across... mightn't have meant to be rude.. somebody on here earlier.. said they didn't think it was meant rude.. ah we'll never know. Im sending my questions to someone else anyway, coz she is just o lovely.

Aww thanks Ella we are young at heart and that is what its all about. Mine are lovely and are Matt fans too so its great.

yeah it's matt with a very annoying female backing singer. A lot of the Darwyn stuff is sung in his lower register - 7S is much closer to the Matt you hear now. I absolutely love this song mind. I have deliberately not been listening to this stuff before RFYL is released so I don't get wound up if it's not as good (as a song rather than a performance I mean - it will undoubtedly be better produced)

Ah ok thanks, he sounds differnt. I love the way he sings now .. that tone is amazing.. not as keen on this deeper tone.. although obviously still amazing but not as amazing.. haha god i can talk/ramble

he hates the way he sounds on this stuff - I love it personally but mainly they are just such amazing songs - I'd love to hear new versions of them - maybe for the tour?

I think thats why I prefer the Seven Summers album to the Darwyn songs. I prefer Matt's voice on the Seven Summers album.

It would be great if Matt could incorporate some Darwyn and Seven Summers songs into his tour. Hope we don't have to wait too long to find out when a full tour will happen
