I've just discovered that there is a shop in Ashton under Lyne that stocks loads of American goodies. Like cyber candy but does regular food too,

I think I may be paying a visit soon.

Very expensive - though the same applies to British shops abroad.

I think this thread would generate more interest if moved to Food and Drink.

Incidentally, there are plenty of things in the North West that I'd like down here - takeaway wise. Like chips cooked in dripping, steak puddings and black pudding.

Granted, you can cook them yourself, but they are largely unavailable in takeaways - which means I have to make do with second best

In our House of Fraser, there's a food section and it sells a lot of US foods.

Pricey!!

Visited Chester recently and found a little shop selling mainly chocs, some sodas in one of the arcades, think it was the Grosvenor Centre. It's called 'sweets from heaven'. They could call it 'prices from Mars' actually, nonetheless I wasn't deterred from buying a few things:

hershey's milk choc bar 198g - £4.99
(£3.47 on your link)
Oh Henry 51g - £1.75
3 Musketeers 60g - £1.75
hershey's cookies 'n' creme 40g - £1.50

Import costs but location costs quite a lot as well in the UK.
