Uni's going very well so far! Had the fun of freshers and now the looming third and final year begins tomorrow I really don't want uni to be over and 'real life' to begin though so although I'm looking forward to being back, it sucks as I know it's my last year Wish I'd done a 4 year course now with an option to make it 5 years by studying abroad! Oh and I've finally met all my new flatmates and thankfully they are great too....though I keep on calling one Cesca as she reminds me of Cesca from Made in Chelsea

Can't you continue studying? I don't really get how law degrees work. I assume as with medical and accountancy degrees you need to sit more 'professional' exams and gain accreditation etc. But do you just start work experience and that first?

Yeah. Start on Tuesday. My timetable is so lax for the first time! I only have 3 classes this semester and 3 next, rather than the usual 6 over both or something. Bad thing is they are all 2 hour lectures this year They were bad last year so this year... How is yours?

Yup....out the 4 others last year, the only 2 I would've stayed with are both living at home this year due to their financial situations So I've got new ones! I don't think we'll see much of the maths post-grad though as she seems to be out from like 9-6 and then eats and vanishes then has early nights to begin again the next day

Yeah it's kinda like medicine/accountancy etc and I'm kinda continuing studying for one more year doing some 'professional' exams stuff but we can't get student loan for that, we need to get a normal loan or one of the professional loans (or something similarly named) but the problem is you can't get one loan for fees and then one for maintenance like you can with student finance. Its just one loan that has to do you for everything and as the fees alone are like 10k, and then you need money for accomodation and food and stuff on top, you really need to budget and pinch the pennies! So it's more like real life as opposed to the easy and stress free position you have with student finance

Hope you have a good second/third year! Sounds like you've lucked out with the timetabling and you'll get a nice amount of days off Though 2 hour lecs must be a killer!! Wish mine was half-way decent...we've got the 6 each week in both semesters and atm I'm in every day of the week with all starts being AM with the exception of one which runs till 5.30 so even that one's not great But I'm gunna try and be sneaky and get put into another sem group for one module so that I could at least have thurdays off! Did you pick electives for this year? Or is maths like compulsory throughout the whole course?

I'm still in everyday... just not often... I don't finish until 5 on Fridays though! 9-11 then 3-5 It also doesn't show all my labs and tutorials though, but about a 13hour week xD

Um, this year I got to choose 40 credits. Stuck with another maths and one management science class. I actually didn't pick the other management science class available as it was taken by a terrible lecturer I had in my first 'first' year

I'm no fan of Lady Gaga and have often seen her as a bit strange (I can't talk but still) and too fake for my liking but this shows a much more human side to her and I actually quite liked her after that tribute. As someone who was bullied from Year 7 all the way until Year 11 it makes me so glad to see someone so famous and popular like Gaga condemning something as hurtful and life scarring as bullying.

Ahh so not that good then I thought you were gunna get a few days off! Oooh that's a rotten finish for fridays though, it's like a punishment! Haha that's what I did with my electives I deliberately chose classes which give me good members of staff (though unfortunately one elective got cancelled and I've been lumbered with another module that not only has a dreadful tutor, but also means I actually have to do a january exam as well)

Loudoun Castle was immense, it was more spaced out than MnD's, because let's face it MnD's is like a tarmac car park with rides built on top

That guard was quite rough with us, he grabbed me pretty aggressively on the arm and I bruise like a wee peach
