I know there are plenty of fish in the sea, you know what I'm like though honey, once I attach to something/somebody then it is difficult for me to let go, I think it's because he was my first/only shag that I'm not technically over him.

I think if you're not over him then it's not really the right time to be looking for someone else. Take your time, it's okay to still be a little hurt, also, use the time to start to rediscover yourself, no-one else can love you, if you don't love yourself first.
