Pahaha! I have my glasses on generally! I only where my contacts now when I go out out or meet friends. I wear my glasses to uni and stuff (mainly because I can't see the screens well ). SO basically most of the time. Daily's are expensive.

I swear my prescription isn't right! My monthlys were so much better for distance, these daily's seem worse

It is right. I've told them about it when I was still on the trial for these. I think it's just cause they are thinner so they are more easily moved when in my eye compared to my monthly's which were a little thicker, so couldn't move as easily.

Yeah, it probably is best to forget about him and move on, I've known for a long time that I was just another notch on his bed-side table, so why I've cared for him for so long is really quite strange, probably my loving nature.

Feel odd this morning, went a bit overboard last night, had a very good drinking/stoning session, also got my first few hits of salvia, that was errm... enlightening

Speaking of contact lenses, I ran out of solution for my monthlies last night and they were my last set. I learned before from the experience of putting them in water then in your eyes the next morning a few years ago. Once and never again!

That is the one annoyance with the monthlies though; I don't like wearing my glasses when I'm out and if I end up staying over at some friends' house then I need to have a container on me as sleeping in them is also a once and never again thing.

It's interesting to know you don't find the dailies as good though Jav! I'm looking at trying them. I don't think they are more expensive Jason as my parents both changed over to them from the monthly scheme and they've saved money as far as I know.

Anyway, that's my 2p's worth; I'll shut up about contacts now.

In other news, my emotions are confusing me...

Dunno, I liked both but my monthly's dried my eyes out more, the daily's are comfier. Mines are expensive. Damn astigmatism! But mine are £20more instore! So I buy them online. Still more expensive but cheaper in bulk

Well, I've been talking to a guy, and he seems really nice and we're going to meet up most likely. But I know I'm not ready for a relationship and I'm worried that I won't be able to think head over heart if it turns out I do really like him. With me it's either all or nothing anyway, I'm not into the whole casual 'fun' side of stuff as I'd just end up hurt and feeling used.

I'm sure it'll all sort itself out somehow. =/

Well my plan is.

If new friend (A) finds a friend to take the last ticket I'll give the better seats to my sister and her friend. If A doesn't and friend B does, I'll take them with friend A

Well it was friend B who didn't want to fork out the extra £7 or however much it was at the time and I even landed on front row seats but didn't buy them due to this! So I don't think its fair in a way to take her forward... Also me and her were 3rows form the front last time, so it would balance it out nicely if my other friend who couldn't go last time had the opportunity... Also, B is just annoying me recently, always with her boyfriend etc, I have barely spoke to her since September tbh. She's kinda drifted out our group tbh...

SAME! I couldn't programme at all! Like, I can list off all the methods and concepts etc, but couldn't physically apply it to save myself! I passed the exam though

But yeah, got out half way through 1st year and was able to change coursem didn't even need to pass any of the exams, but it was like week10 of sem2 so it'd been pointless to through it all away xD

Started on Python and Java (And object oriented principles in general) last year. This year we've moved onto C, Lisp and Prolog, which are all an absolute mindf**k!

I think the big demoralising thing is that there's loads of people who are really good at it as they've been doing programming since they were like 10 or whatever and it makes it even worse when you're struggling and they're whizzing ahead with everything.

I did consider transferring over to do French and European Studies but I did a lot better in the second semester and luckily passed my resits in the summer.

Just feeling sorry for myself, it seems everything I do at the minute just seems to really piss off my family, they basically said I was a useless c*** to my face earlier, I'l live.

Jeeez, we only had Java in BlueJ and then Eclipse. Heard 2nd year was horrible and so's 3rd year Glad I didn't stay tbh... They've started C and stuff.

French and European, thats a dramatic change Glad you found a way to work through it though but I felt the same in 1st year. I was fine in all the other classes but programming was such a bitch! And yeah, I swear they've had years and years of experience. I was always one of the last people to leave a lab as I took forever to complete them, if I did!
