Im currently on the Anytime Unlimited Calls, unlimited BB and BTV Gold. TBH i find BTV a bit rubbish, so im looking at cancelling and getting sky installed. Looking at various forums there seem to be nothing but horror stories about Sky line rental, telephone and BB installation so ill keep them with BT. I cannot find (even on my bill!) a breakdown of how much im paying for what service, and on the BT website it has nothing but new customer deals. So if i cancel BTV, how much will i save from my BT bill each month? Hope that makes some sort of sense.....

Gold is £12.50 I believe, unless you are in any sort of bundle deal in which case they may say you'll save less.

However, I would comment that looking at various forums as you have, you'll also hear horror stories about BTs BB and phone or indeed Virgin Media.

Given that you've decided to move away from Vision, you have other opportunities open to you...

Suppose it depends on your bundle deal. You should also double check that you are not in a contract!

My advice - if you cancel BT and stick with them for Phone/BB - then keep Vision as a PAYG box. You can do that and it will mean you can access iPlayer.

I'd also speak to BT and ask them what they can do to retain your custom - if you are looking to goto Sky then tell them you'd like to speak to someone from "retentions" in the first instance. Many companies will bend over backwards to stop you going to the competition.
