To the Rachel doubters
Well before the veto competition I was looking at a live stream thread and someone said Rachel was finished, that she didn't care anymore and that Jordan was now the one with all the energy for the game.
Seriously???????? Jordan just looks washed up most of the time to me, she isn't great at tasks and she doesn't have that much intelligence for the game either. I can see how Rachel can be annoying in the house, but for a viewer she does stir things up and she is quite a good gameplayer too. And the campy part of her which would seem too fake and annoying in a man to me is just funny in her. |

If Rachel wins, she deserves it. She's played a good game.

Rachel really annoys me, but I won't mind if she wins. She hasn't done much lately, competition wise, but she's done a damn sight more than Jordan, Adam or Porsche.

Out of interest what does how many competitions you've won really matter? I'd say someone who can get to the final without winning has played a better game than someone who relies on winning to survive.

I am coming around to her again after slightly going off her midway during the series. I now would quite like to see her in the final 2.

For example Adam is a the biggest ass Kisser this season he does not deserve to win but i think all of them in there know if he is in final 2 Adam will not win. |

I'd like Rachel to get to the final and win. I think it would be a fitting end to this series. That would be an interesting final with those 2, very close I'd say, which would make it an exciting final.

Even though she is so annoying, I have always been quite a fan of Rachel, she does do well (mostly) in competitions, the only thing I really dislike about her is when she doesn't go away, it's like watching my niece getting told to go to bed when the spice world movie is on, lol

I've genuinely been a fan of Rachel since the BB12 cast videos were released. I get that she can be a royal pain in the arse, and would be a nightmare to live with, but I've always firmly believed that she's just a very insecure person who just wants to be liked. She puts on a show because she's desperate for approval, and doesn't know how else to get it. It makes me sad to read some of the things that people say about her, because I genuinely think she's a good person underneath the bravado.
It makes me happy to see people are warming to her, because I think coming out and being so hated after last season hit her hard. I think her winning, and coming out reasonably well liked this time would be a nice ending for this season. She said she went in for redemption, and I'd love it if to any degree, she got it. ![]() In my opinion at least, this season would have been absolutely dreadful without Rachel. (and Daniele!) She's just a fantastic housemate, and would be a great winner! ![]() I think this is the nicest post I've written for about 3 years!

I think it did hit her hard how eveyone (audience and cast members) were so universally horrible about her that year and she wasn't ever that bad really.

I think Brendon is also a reason why she's noticeably more insecure. He's so controlling and treats her like crap. I'm no Rachel fan, but Brendon manages to make me feel sorry for her! When she talks about living in Vegas, before she met Brendon, she always sounds so much happier.

Good to see people agreeing with me. The last program seemed like the producers wanted to show her in a good light too, with the others getting the shopping spree and seeing the TV star because of her. I still think Jordan is getting an easy ride though and the annoying thing is she seems to claim that she is part of the success of Rachel in the last week.

To the point where it was her being the sensible one when Jordan was having her hysterics . If it was nt for the tailored pandora's box twist , i would probably have been rooting for her to win . |

The twist was more for Jordan I think, they couldn't depend on Jordan winning a competition lol. Rachel saved herself fair and square anyway.

I personally cant stand her, and was gutted when i found out she was part of the veterans returning. She is like a kid. She wins something and she rubs it in everyones faces, but the minute she loses she goes off crying, face like thunder and says how everyone hates her. 2 total extremes.
Always find it funny how she says she hates floaters, yet Jordan is the biggest one in there. Never wins comps and only reason she doesnt get nominated is because she is nice. Brendon is just as bad as her aswell, them 2 are well suited together |

Even people who don't like her probably think she deserved to win just for not letting Adam get second place

All this "floater" talk gets abit boring after awhile with the housemates. If you have avoided eviction - no matter how you did it - then you deserve to be there. Yes you can do what Rachel did and win comps to avoid eviction, or you can do what Adam and Jordan did and play a good social game, as they know they're crap at comps.
I like Jordan but what did she do that Adam didnt? Both won very little (her only HoH was given to her) No one way is right |

I like Jordan but what did she do that Adam didnt? Both won very little (her only HoH was given to her) No one way is right The point about floaters is that some players, like Adam, skate on through while letting others make the big moves and take each other out. It's a legitimate way to play the game, but it's not going to win many admirers in the house. Floating can be an excellent strategy when played well. Jun in BB4 is the ultimate floater, but she actively played a game, and kept herself safe. She could have faced eviction many times, but made smart deals to save herself. Compare her to the other type of floater - Allstar Erika, who just sat back, let the game go on around her, didn't fight to avoid the block resulting in her being nominated multiple times, but was always saved because whoever was sitting next to her was a bigger threat. Daniele summed up Adam well in the final - he's a piggybacker. He jumped onto Jeff's back, and rode him through the game. Jeff, Rachel and even Shelly worked as shields for him, because they were far bigger threats than he was. By the time Jeff was gone, there was enough division in the house to slide through the middle, and if it wasn't for Rachel and Porsche reuniting, he would have slid through the cracks to second place. It's effective gameplay, but why should he be rewarded for sitting back and let others play the game, while he gets a free vacation from Jeff's shoulders. The housemates who actively play the game, will ultimately want someone else who played the game to win - not someone who just watched from the sidelines. |

It must be quite hard to play the game when you don't win competitions anyway as you can't be thought of as that useful an ally, except as someone who you wouldn't mind being in the final 2 with.
