Raincoat for my Corgi
kizzie

I need to get a cheap raincoat ( preferably belly covering) for my Corgi

Does anyone know where I can get one. or ideas how to make one?

Ive seen some coats on ebay but the sizes seem way to short 30cm from neck to tail or 33cm for large ones but that only comes half way up her back

I have a problem with numbers so im probably getting mixed up with sizes.

Have you measured your dog - what size do you need?

My mum got a yellow plastic one (full with hood) for our Jack Russel just from Pets at Home.

They tend to make them short to stop them getting wee'd on as most people use them as fasion accesories. Try this site they will make to order http://www.barkingmadclothing.co.uk/...cts.asp?cat=10 so can make them a bit longer.

This is something that interests me.

My spaniel has long hair on her belly and it gets completely tangled up with snow and ice in winter to the point where she can barely walk.

We looked around for a "coat" for her last year but I couldn't find a single one that covers a dog underneath.
Seems like they're all designed just to keep rain off a dogs back.

She is 57cm from neck to base of her tail.

I want one with a hood as well. so her head and face stay dry.
