My wife e-mailed Channel 5 about not being able to Celebrity Big Brother bit on the side (God knows why she watches this crap). Anyway we received this e-mail from them today.

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side.

We were sorry to read that you cannot watch the programme on 5*. Due to a lack of narrow beam capacity, we have been unable to make 5* and 5 USA available on the Freesat platform since the channels were launched. However, additional capacity on Freesat is likely to become available later this year and we are planning to make these channels available once this is in place.

The programme is broadcast on both 5* and Channel 5 and we recommend that you keep an eye on the television listings to obtain scheduling details for the latter channel.

In the meantime, you can catch up with what you have missed using our online catch up service, Demand 5. The web address is:

It might be better to get a cheap freeview box for now also the show are in full on youtube
