A reference to the new Dredd film in this week's 2000AD

There are two part of the latest Dredd story in this week's issue (so that all the current stories finish at the same time so next week's issue can have a new line-up)

In the first panel of the third page of the first part there is a piece of graffiti on a wall which says

"Who watches the Watchmen??

Who would???

Ma-Ma might"

Madeline "Ma-Ma" Madrigal is the main villain in the upcoming film

Interesting. I'm still wary of this movie, though. The scars are still there from the Stallone version...

Not all the current stories. Presumably something finished last week, and that's why Dredd had two episodes this week, to fill the gap. Dredd didn't actually need to end his current arc in tandem with everything else, as he's ever-present and would still be in the comic anyway.
