What's your favorite breakfast?
I love a good breakfast on a Saturday morning, my favorite would probably be buttery scrambled egg, crispy streaky bacon in toasted english muffins. Mmmmmm
Due to my diet I have been having low fat yoghurt with strawberries during the week and it is surprisingly filling

I like scrambled eggs on granary bread with smoked salmon, or a couple of butcher's sausages, thick cut smoked back bacon, fried mushrooms, fried egg, grilles tomatoes, baked beans and 2 slices of toast. All washed down with a big mug of tea.

I love a cooked breakfast, but haven't had one for such a long time. The scaremongers have put me off too - I think of my arteries getting clogged up, and don't bother ! I usually have porridge or some toast and marmalade, followed by coffee.

Summer would be fruit and winter would be croissants but mainly it's a slice of toast.

My current favourite is two sandwiches with cold, thinly cut, cooked meat and a dash of brown sauce.
I also like soup for breakfast in the winter, or a couple of pastries such as Pain au Raisins. Always with a yoghurt and glass of fruit juice. ![]() Absolutely detest most of the fatty stuff that goes into a Full English and would never have one. |

Couple of warm pancakes with either maple/golden syrup, crunchy peanut butter or nutella, then topped with chopped banana
(A different topping for each pancake! )

Full English, but only when I'm staying in a hotel, because it's too much of a hassle to get everything in for just me!

Full english every time. My local cafe does a massive one for £4 that I've never seen anyone come close to finishing.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, proper coffee and eggs benedict. Preferably eaten in New York but I'll take it anywhere!

pain au raisin is pretty heavy on the saturated fat tbh, if you grilled all the elements of a full English, it would probably have less saturated fat than a couple of pain au raisins.
As for a full English, I literally detest almost everything in it, so grilling to reduce the fat would not entice me one bit.

I am not really a breakfast fan to be honest.
I'd rather wait and have a nice lunch ![]() OH will occasionally make his version of a fry-up (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, spaghetti hoops, fresh bread) or do sausage sandwiches but normally breakky is wholemeal toast, fruit and yoghurt for me
