The Trevor part is complete bollocks - she's written elsewhere (first book, I think) that they had six months of unprotected sex.

Last week's osteoporosis article confirms why LJ would not have been able to conceive beyond the age of 18*.
(& * not for the first time, per a recent post by Bellagio)

As for her public information announcement about 'sperm burglars', (imo) the 'average' LJ beau already has ample grounds to run for the hills long before encountering this particular hazzard.

This latest article is just a re-hash - she has commented on this before - and they even recycle the bleeding photos as well........

Twitter is laughing at the deluding woman.

People who are childless - whether through circumstances or design - already get enough silly questions, etc,
without the lovely Liz Jones stirring her cauldron

Guess this is what happens in weeks when she's not allowed to write about buying useless £££designer tat.

Intrigued by the age discrepancies in the article. At one point Liz states:

But my husband was 14 years younger than me, and he had told me he was not ready for children.
But the caption under the picture of them states there' only 11 years:

They met when he was 26 and she was 37
So is it 11 years, 14 years or even more?

I finally told my future husband my real age (that I was, in fact, 14 years older than him, not the 11 he’d been led to believe) two weeks before our wedding

Not forgetting this all-time low:

I was quite relieved when my mum developed dementia because it meant she could no longer inadvertently blurt out my date of birth.

Absolutely Doris, I know most don't mean to be insensitive but having total strangers expecting you to go into detail as to why you don't have children just adds to the pain and humiliation. Liz has just highjacked the grief of genuinely infertile women to try and get some sympathy - and boy has it backfired.

So, yet again she's (1) recycling a story she's written about several times before, (2) hi-jacking a genuine tragedy and doing her "how-can-I-make-this-all-about-me?" trick....and (3) worst of all, making horrible sweeping generalisations about the awful things "women" are capable of. No, Liz, not women. You.

I dread to think how many men read that article and thought "Blimey, what evil manipulative creatures women are."

She has this creepy way of kind of lining herself up with the female population in general and presenting her own mad, weird, sick actions as if they are somehow typical of the rest of us. Words can't express the harm this does. Just a couple of weeks ago she wrote about something underhand she'd done, and said something like: "If you have a son, be sure to warn him about the duplicitous nature of women" or something along those lines. As if her behaviour was typical of the rest of us,and we women are all part of this huge wicked unhinged selfish gang of witches that men should fear and mistrust.

Horrible, horrible, harmful journalism. This kind of thing does so much damage to the way people think about the world.

The headline "Her most shocking confession yet" suggests this is a new revelation. Does anyone have any links to the various times she's told this story in the past? I can remember reading about it at least twice before.

The worst part is, it's as if Liz has just realised that her childlessness is a whole new source of pity party articles. In a lightbulb moment she twigged that instead of slagging off mothers and their gastly children she could yet again make it all about - me, me, me, me! I truly believe she expected an avalanche of supportive comments about this pain she has hidden so thoroughly for so long. Yes childlessness is the new 'broke' for Liz so soon we will be celebrating as she adopts a 'rainbow family' of aesthetically pleasing cute orphans. That'll keep her in column fodder after the RS is mysteriously written out.

Having just read La Jones's 'jizzgate' column, I'm forced to conclude that she's really just trolling at this point.

That woud be my take on it too. She's raking it in whilst sitting back and laughing delightedly at the furore.

My post on the age difference is the third one on the site. .

Nirpal was born in 1974 and Liz Jones in 1958. She was therefore 42 when they first met if he was 26. I recall Liz writing at the time of her marriage that she she was consulting a wonderful herbalist who had performed miracles for her friends' fertility problems..Liz was convinced she too would be pregnant within the year. Sadly her true age and the fact that she had abused her body through starvation diets for decades made that highly unlikely. So it always struck me as rather odd that Liz became so vehemently anti-children. Now we know the reason why. But just because she was so duplicitous does not mean all other 30 or 40 something women should be branded as sperm stealing harpies. It is also incredibly spiteful of Liz Jones to declare that the 39 year old girlfriend of one man she interviewed will be pregnant within the year. For someone so gloriously in love with her rock star, you would think she would be a little less cynical.

Yes, sadly.

I think we'll have to concede that she will continue to churn out this tripe and continue to be paid mega-bucks for doing so.

Well at least he won't have to worry that she will steal his sperm. She stopped being fertile years ago if she ever was.

Are they using a pre-facelift photo? She is wearing the same cardigan she wore in the benefits article written in November 2009 and they are from the same agency.

^ The above belatedly reminded me of Woody Allen, as pictured here, except in this instance he'd be wearing an eye mask, a stripey jumper and carrying a bag marked 'Swag'.

Perhaps a better description of LJ's thievery is: 'demented journalist plumbs new depths to create column fodder'
