I giggled all the way through her latest, bless her I think Samantha Brick wins this week though. Liz must be quietly seething. Looking at twitter and currently la Brick is still trending more than Liz Jones despite the original article coming out a couple of days ago.
I think Liz needs to be afraid, very afraid! they might offer Brick a column too!

Well, she does write occasional articles for the DM, including : How my wonderful french husband insisted on a pre-nup and it made me happy',
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/...ally-care.html 'How I let my wonderful french husband choose my clothes for me and I'm so much happier' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...dress-you.html How I gave up my career for my wonderful French husband and am so much happier' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/...al-France.html And of course, My wonderful French husband will leave me if i get fat. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...rce-I-fat.html And of course, her article 'I was addicted to psychics till one told me I'd meet my wonderful French Husband'. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...-marriage.html |

she looks more like a 50 year old with a plastic face wearing clothes similar to the Duchess. (Don't contribute to this thread though I do read with interest but had to echo this )

And if my husband told me he'd divorce me if I put on weight, I'd expect him to keep himself in shape as well. Strange that he is decribed as muscled - that beer belly doesn't look like muscles to me. |

She is on the front cover of the Daily Fail today and looks insane...Jenni Murray replied some of the interview on today's Woman's Hour and it was bad. And Samantha Brick is deluded too.

How about Liz and Brick do a sort or Celebrity Wife Swap. I would love to see Liz holed up in France with Brick's gun-toting WFH, choosing her clothes for her and slamming down a plate of Frogs Legs as Liz wimpers behind her steamed asparagus. Brick has such an incredible imagination that she would have no problem being able to see the FRS (who as we know has 'made luurve to some of the most beautiful women in the world', he will immediately write a concept album for her based on her stunning beauty. On her move to Exmoor she will kick out all the animals as they will only be jealous of her beauty, kick out Nic who will refuse to work for her due to her beauty, Liz's randy gardener will wink saucily as per usual.

Brick will overwhelm the entire village of Dulverton with her beauty and taxi drivers and random strangers will stop in awe and randomly comment on how lucky they are to merely be in the presence of her beauty. Rock stars wil flock to her and she'll probably not be able to tell which one is Liz's RS as they will all claim to be him, in order to spend time with her. The Mail will be able to get weeks of columns from that scenario. |

Believing that 'Kate' has been captured by a mustachioed gun-wielding Frenchman _ a confused Prince William could stage a dramatic helicopter rescue.

As i couldn't resist commenting on the DM website, it all makes sense now. Liz's next column will be titled "How I traded in my RS for a RP (royal prince).
After all in Liz's world, if Kate Middleton can pull a prince then surely she can if she apes the clothes and hairstyle. Such mileage she could have teasing her supporters re his supposed identity. |

You can listen to the radio 4 Woman's Hour on iplayer
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01f65w5 Her voice has changed , I think, it seems more mangled. And she was totally out of her depth, especially by the lady who designs clothes for disabled women. Saw this today - made me laugh! http://www.anorak.co.uk/318211/news/...-trolled.html/ |

I have realized I look just like Penelope Cruz. Just like her, barring the much shorter hair, the many many pounds more I weigh and my troublesome grey roots. I suspect that if I put on a long ballgown like Penelope wears to the Oscars and take a walk past the construction site, many many many men will whistle loudly and say things like "Hey Beautiful!"
Mind you, perhaps Samantha Brick would get even more attention--construction workers climbing down from whatever they're doing, dropping their troubles and offering to service her, say. I take a certain amount of pleasure in the Mailwatch Forum's Liz Jones thread, where the mostly male-generated comments are less generous than we Harpies and Harpoons (I presume that's the name for a male Harpie) are. They've got one for Sammy Brick now, too: http://www.mailwatch.co.uk/forum/vie...=4853&start=15 |

And . . . well . . . you know Samantha's French husband? The one that's all French and not British? Her articles suggest that he may not have the pleasantest, sweetest personality. Granted that . . . having seen what he looks like, WHY WOULD ANY WOMAN WANT TO BE MARRIED TO THIS PUDGY, COMBAT-WEARING UGLY PLUG??
It's kind of like a Zen koan. You know there's got to be some reason, but it might take years of meditation to work it out. |

QUOTE] Do you know, I think maybe the saddest part is that, like Liz with Nirps, she may have just written that article to make the French Husband jealous. As she seems to be the only woman in her French village under 70 she may well have turned a few French heads, tried to wind up the French Husband and he's not taken any notice. In that ridiculous photo of them he looks way more fond of his French gun than her, a desperate cry for attention me thinks. |

Ms Brick and Ms Jones have much in common if you peruse the formers columns...... lots of inconsistencies and playing to the gallery! Both seem rather keen to have lots of pictures in the mail.
(The celebrity tweets are hilarious btw. My favourite is: Samantha can heal the ugly with her touch, but chooses not to because, afterall they're the lucky ones ) Every so often someone barges into this thread with a 'ha ha! Liz has you all fooled! And she's laughing all the way to the bank!' type post, as if no one has ever speculated on here about how far LJ is complicit in her readers' ridicule. Ditto with Brick perhaps - there is a lot more money in "eat dirt you jealous tubbos" than in "I am just very ordinary and must accept it." Quote:
After reading that article, I'm speechless.

I hadn’t realised it before, but we are shockingly alike in our approach to life. We both want nice things. We want to escape our ordinary past (mine, Chelmsford, Essex; hers, Bucklebury, Berkshire). We believe in fairytale romance. So, yes, I might have Kate’s morals and determination Ha ha. The coincidence of TWO women who want nice things is indeed shocking. When you think that 99.99% of women prefer nasty things you can see how close they are. Lucky that Liz has Kate's morals and determination, though I had not realized that Kate's morals included stealing sperm, running up enormous debts, soliciting financial contributions from people on a state pension and having rude tantrums directed at every shop assistant in Britain. I actually thought kate had nice manners. Quote:

Dont get me wrong, I am not particularly interested in the fact that a woman of about 40 (depending on when the pic was actually taken) has a spare tyre, where would that leave much of the female population after all, but we have had days of self absorbed delusional "I'm so beautiful every man stands to attention when I'm in proximity" nonsense that somehow it is a cruel irony of the Mail to publish photos of her looking like that. Hardly "supportive" is it? Liz Jones and Samantha Brick for CBB! Would be hilarious watching them trying to outdo each other 24/7. Of course we would all be jealous...... ![]() (Long time thread lurker but I'm normally found in the BB forum )
