Not a bad line up although I cannot stand russell grant. I would imagine Harry will win - McFly have a huge and avid fan base so I cannot see anyone beating him unfortunately. Having said that he was good on the christmas one.

I despair I think the line up is poor think I will really struggle to watch it this year I wish the BBC would spend their money on decent pros and dancers rather than overpaid presenters and stupid 3D finals when the % of the viewing public with 3D tv is too low to warrant it

I don't think the line up is that bad, I know who all of them are (kind of), and to me it's more about their personality/dance ability than how famous they are, so I wait to the launch show before judging.

I couldn't stand Iwan Thomas in Celebrity Masterchef, but he's not bad to look at then again so was Matt last year and he still annoyed me.

Maybe the line up will be endearing to the seasoned reality TV veterans who are also 'oldies'. . . . not all of us want to watch kids all the time

Is that chap from McFly really 6'1"? I don't remember him towering over Ola that badly in the CiN special. I think Ola is about 5'3" and even if she wore 3" heels there would still have been a 7" height difference, which is a sizeable amount. It looked quite obvious when she was paired with Andrew Castle who was tall.

BIB - no - I think it's looking okay . I might just be feeling relieved after weeks of Edwina, Greg Wallace, Russell etc. Perhaps it's just better than I feared

The twittersphere seems to be alive with McFly fans saying they're going to watch Strictly this year.....



They have great pros and the 3D thing is just about the BBC exploring the take-up and finding out if it's worth committing to - they know the numbers will be small, but they have to trial these things.

Rehearsals are starting tomorrow according to the pros on twitter The celebs will have to have a few days rehearsals for the launch dance.

I'm supporting Harry all the way - he's my fave member of McFly, he's got rhythm and he's gorgeous.

No, I think so too - the only ones I can't stand are Russell Grant and Nancy Del'Olio (and Alex Jones annoys me a bit), and the only one I haven't heard of is Chelsee Healey (who'll presumably be given to the new male dancer if she's the youngest girl!).

I think it's a far better line-up than last year!!

I'm glad it's the same set as last year, I liked that one

I reckon this line-up will be fairly accurate as it is very near the launch show. However i'm hoping they've got one or two of the female celebs names wrong, namely Nancy and Edwina and possibly Lulu if she's as bad as others are saying (if she appears i'll make my own judgement ) she could be quite good though coming from a music background.


Could it be the year where we actually get a pretty decent male line-up??? (not including Russell )

If this line up is correct my favourites so far are- Alex Jones, Dan Lobb and Holly Valance. Hope Dan dosen't get partnered with Natalie Lowe, don't like a thing about her.

Already got pre-show favourite in Dan Lobb - I remember saying to my Mum about a month ago that he might be a possibility given the previous GMTV links to Strictly.
And hopefully, given his height, he'll be with my favourite pro - Natalie.

That would be my hope too.
