Does anyone know what is going on??
We have Sky HD, BB, and talk and just recently we seem to be receiving more and more of very annoying marketing calls.
From PPI claiming to grants to claiming for trips and falls that have not happened - it is a bloody nightmare!

I kid you not, we must be receiving 8-12 calls a day and we only give our land line number out to people and companies that are absolutely necessary.
We are registered with TPS but this seems to be doing no good.

Anyone know if sky are 'selling on' our land line numbers?

Thanks for anything that anyone can help with..
If we didn't have everything under one roof with sky, I would move to virgin and not have a land line!

Firstly you need to report them, you can do that via the TPS website. There's some more info here http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints/pri...nications.aspx

I doubt Sky would sell your details, have you used one of those comparison websites? its not unknown for them to pass your details on to others. We started getting these so we invested in a device called "Truecall", it sits between your phone socket and phone and can be used to filter out sales calls. We don't get any sales calls any more.

Thanks Jim, I might try that truecall thing. We may have used a comparison website but only ever put mobile number in as always have that on me. Will try your advice, thanks
