I think Yusef will give Quadim the impression that they've got this common goal but will leave out the part where he will use his daughter to get what he wants.

Qadim comes across as the more violent type bad guy. He acts more with his fists and perhaps less with his brain... but i could be wrong, because the violent bits are all I can seem to remember of him.

I agree, I do think that we are likely to see them turning on each other, causing maybe the death and destruction of one or both. I think that maybe they will both die together in some violent way, in the 'big moment' that we all seem to feel is coming. So intrigued as to how it's all going to play out on screen. I think Yusef is likely to take things too far, try to play Qadim, and it will backfire on him big time. At some point, he is going to come unstuck and I think Qadim might be his undoing, I can see a double cross happening at some point, somehow. However it plays out, I do not see them as united for long, something will give.

Think you got it in one. It's why Yusef is so dangerous. He's so good at convincing everyone he's on their side, gains their trust and then... bam!
A guy like Qadim is not to be messed with though. So Yusef is playing a very dangerous game here. There's a good chance that Qadim might turn against Yusef in the end... especially when he feels his daughter has been hurt. We've seen what he's capable of....

Something my over-active imagination thought up in a moment of madness.. What if e.g. Amira and Syed end up in physical danger together at some point - due to Yusef's evil revenge plans.. - and Christian and Qadim end up having to work together to save them both..

I could see it. You're right. Quadim is not to be messed with. He's a shaddy man, with contracts and money. He's done time and had no qualms about beating a man to death. Yusef needs to pick his enemy's more wisely but I doubt he cares. He's a very smart man and believes he can manipulate everyone to his advantage.

Thanks for quoting me! Yeah, I do think you're right. I don't believe it's going to last. I think they'll end up turning against each other, esp. if Qadim realized his daughter is being manipulated. He could very welll be Yusef's undoing.
