Yes, an interesting thread. Some good points. I feel they are not working that well either, they are getting too much of the same type of storyline, the miscarriage - this is huge mistake - can't understand why on earth TPTB think this is a good move after the Baby Swap. I did think there was some superb acting in the baby swap especially around the reveal time. But that is an exceptional story, it's not typical Kat and Alfie. They haven't been how I've expected them to be. It's like they don't know how to break the cycle of them being miserable.

Shame as they are probably the bit of BK's time I would now class as the weakest overall. They need to get that landlady / landlord vibe and make them the life and soul of the Vic - it's not happening so far. I don't understand why, it ought to have been fairly easy for EE to do. Although I liked them a lot the first time around, I wouldn't class myself as a superfan. And I can't remember things that clearly, but it's interesting how much the die-hard fans are unhappy, so I feel sorry for them.

It's toooo naughty for me. I might change some of it :sleep:

Now this idea I like! -you literally couldn't get further away from Amira, Quadim, Yusef, Syed's parents and from the storyliners :sleep:. Win! Plus, it's awesomely beautiful.

I honestly don't understand why after the baby swap they thought a miscarriage was a good idea!! I know EE seems to thrive on misery but there should be a limit!!
I was quite a big fan during their first stint, adored their scenes and them as individuals....I feel like the characters are nothing like they used to be and the chemistry just doesn't seem as good either...it's a shame I feel really bad for the fans too
