How's your event coordinating going? Hope your son is still impressed?
Hope they are still enjoying life with baby Chase. It's so exhausting at the beginning. However much anyone tries to prepare you, it's still a huge shock to the system - physically, mentally and emotionally. That realisation that suddenly in the world there is a little being who is totally dependent on you in every sense and that from this moment on they will always come first.

You watching the tennis? I'm glad that Murray managed to get through to the semis, though up against Nadal yet again One can always hope. He has beaten him before. Ooooh, better be careful what I say. Andrea's a big Nadal fan. Sorry Roddick didn't make it through again.

Oh and well done on spotting Annie had reached the 2000 mark. She's been here so long you'd think she'd be up at the 20,000 mark by now

I agree that more variety would have been nice, and a lot of them look the same... but then I feel that when I walk around town, how much young people look the same these days, the girls all with long old-fashioned hair, all the same clothes, there's very little originality out there (and I live in a town with 2 Uni's so lots of youngsters around )

I've decided to give it a few days, cause last year I felt the same way - didn't like anybody on entry - and look how that turned out , the VT's always give a dreadful view (John just wanted fame as I recall ) when we know that really people do them with big heads and big mouths, showing off really, not really giving much away about what they are really like.

It will be hard, with no live feed, to gauge what they are really like, but I will give them a fair viewing and see what they are like once they settle, once we see them without make-up, with the walls coming down a bit and once some friendships/enemies are made

The fact that they are all within a similar age group could actually work for them, in that there won't be such obvious group deliniations - eg. oldies sticking together, young ones sticking together, so it may be that fewer groups or cliques are formed. On the other hand, I do like seeing the unusual friendships formed by HM's of differing ages, eg. John and Dave.

From what's being said on twitter, if it's true that 70% of last years HMs were scouted, (including John - BB certainly wanted him or else wouldn't have gone to the expense they did to get him here). I've been reading tweets between former HM's from various years, who are all talking between themselves, quite interesting

I do have to agree with Marcus Bentley when people keep calling them wannabes, anybody that goes into BB is a wannabe to varying degrees, or else they wouldn't be wanting to go on TV especially now, after all these years of BB, they aren't unaware of what it's all about. I guess we will see if any of them have any substance to them. I keep reminding myself that not all young people are vacuous, disinteresting or brain-dead, I've learned that much myself from being on here and twitter - so many bright young things here and there - as I've said many times, it's been a pleasure and an eye-opener getting to know many of them

I think it's cause Annie's more quality than quantity unlike me, I'm the quantity type

BIB - best advice anybody gave me was enjoy the pregnancy when it's all about you you you, cause when they are born it's all about them them them

Oh, second best bit of advice was, when a child says they have a tummy ache always ask them to point at where it hurts, cause it's not always the tummy they point to... I have found this to be more than true

So Josie has just tweeted that her family are moving to Spain which is sad for her as it seems that she has re-established her relationship with her Mum. Let's hope that she has a good set of friends around her in London.

I guess there were mixed results from my coordinating efforts.

I did spend the afternoon with Mommy and Baby Chase yesterday and had a great afternoon. I got a lot of Chase time and my DIL got 2 naps, even though short ones. I am trying to urge my DIL to relax and not be too hard on herself. She is working so hard at everything....but both she and my son are doing a great job. She was talking yesterday as we were waiting for J to come home from work .... how different it was from their past Friday nights. In the past they would be talking about going out to dinner or doing something with friends. Now it was just another day of the week and she expected him to be a bit of a zombie from lack of sleep. She is adjusting to not working as much as adjusting to being a new mom.

I have only seen a little bit of the tennis, all the rain meant we didn't get any of the normal nightly broadcasts Most of the matches ended up during the daytime and I was working....probably perfect timing for those of you across the pond. I am looking forward to watching today's matches, start here in an hour or so.

Where's our twitter queen?

I am also going to give it a few days. I love big brother and love seeing those real relationships form... it brings out the amateur psychologist in me. But I kind of disagree about the wannabe status'. Yes they all are by now.. to a point. On first impressions... In one way they are pretty honest about their wannabe attitude. But in another they're exactly the kind of people I don't warm to in life, so am not convinced I'll want to watch them. Many of the BB11 housemates I thought I would have found very warm, fun and would've liked. But I'll watch in hope they'll prove me wrong!!

Can you tell me where you get those? I might know a few people who could use them.

Josie does seem to make friends very easily and never seems to be short of them, so that's a good thing Plus she also has a good core group of friends who have known her 'forever' so that is always a great position to be in and I imagine they have been a source of support and comfort through the more difficult times

I imagine she'll miss them a lot, she is obviously very close to her sisters, but they are better off moving abroad when younger, it's a great lifestyle and apparently a great place to live.

Lots of people moving abroad these days - it seems to be the fodder of TV shows there are so many doing it, maybe her Mum has met somebody who lives there or they just fancy a different life. I don't think it's because of the stalking situation, as Josie herself is remaining here. The article did imply they were already living there.

It's such a small world now, so many families live all over the place, my own brothers live in Holland and Surrey.

Just got back and read that - I dont know why but it made me feel sad for Josie, I wonder what they are going to do in Spain?? I hope, if Jose has a new boyfriend (dont know if we discovered if it was gossip or true - i need to concentrate more) that he is a diamond!!

Well I actually think you can be very diplomatic when you want to be....part of the reason for the Switzerland nickname.... But you also are usually quick to point out that your Dad never thought that was your strong suit. So maybe you have been taking those tablets yourself.

If it is true that Josie has a b/f then I think she's doing the right thing - not making a big thing of it, not taking him to the events she's attended recently, it appears (with the minimum we know) that she'd be taking it slowly. Best way She could just be trying him on for size, so to speak, see how he fits into her life, which would be a good way to go
