Food you think sounds nice.
Hey
Have any of you heard of a meal and just thought that sounds nice - without seeing it, or even knowing what is in it? Just hear the name and think that sounds nice. For some reason whenever I hear of Gumbo it always happen to me, all I know is it is some kind of stew. But I have never seen it and I don't know what it consists of, but still I think it sounds lovely and I want a bowl of the stuff

Me too
I really like the sound of gumbo. Eggs benedict. I've never had it but I think I'd love it. I always thought I'd love sushi, but didn't. |

I love gumbo! I make it at least twice a month. Here is a simple one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR8uPiMC7oM

Jambalaya is another one and it is actually very nice, like a spicy meatier paella.

We only need Crawfish Pie now and it'll morph into a Carpenters thread!

Thanks for all your replies. I am glad it is not just me that hears the name of the food and thinks mmmmm that sounds tasty. ![]() Quote:
