SCD or DOI

Do people prefer Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing On Ice. I much prefer Strictly as DOI has people that most have never heard of, and it seems very run-down and a bit boring. I used to like both but last year, I thought DOI was rubbish. It just doesn't have the same effect.

But what do you all think? Do you like the style of DOI, a very simple, run-down show, or do you think that Strictly has the effect of an old-fashioned, family show.

A poll is here.

SCD. Every time ! I find all the white noise of DOI just too much. All that screaming from the audience and swooping camera angles and repetition through all the ad breaks - the show probably could be done in 20 minutes if you cut out all the puff. On the other hand SCD does have some quality viewing over a period of time. Yes they are tinkering with the format a bit from year to year but it's a long running show and that's what happens. Much as I think Phil Schofield is the best live broadcaster there is, I wish he was on BBC One !
