Oh, I had an amazing HO dream last night but it's now ruined the next two weeks for me because they'll never be as good....

Right, well, Ste believed that Brendan was innocent but Silas had set Brendan up.... somehow and he knew the police were coming. And Brendan was pretty much giving up hope and knew he would be arrested, then Ste told him to go on the run but they needed help. So he went to Warren and Warren was all 'why would I help you and him, Ratboy?' and Ste was all 'Cos if you don't, I'll tell everyone you killed Louise' and then he made a smirky bastard face.

Oh I was prepared to be disappointed anyway, but now I think I might just be depressed when we don't get this.

How amazing though. I would love Ste to help him run. I really would. But because this is HO, and they give us no nice things, we won't get it.

Oh, that would be great, wouldn't it? It's all dangerous and gangstery and bastardy, and no one's getting smacked in the face.

I will settle for Ste believing Brendan before he goes. But I fear even that is too much to ask.

They have to have a special intense scene between Brendan and Ste before he gets arrested/goes on the run!
A frantic kiss in the alleyway would be best! But as you say this is HO so they will probably spend an irritating amount of their last episode for a while together concentrating on some daft filler nonsense for another character!

If Rae storms to Cheryl/Brendan's house to have a go about something she is mad about why is Ste there?

Does anyone else think it must be something to do with Rae and Ste? I want Brendan to be worried that Ste will get a job somewhere else before Deccers leaves!

I cannot stress how amazing Ste's facial expression was either. Cocky little shit. Twas epic.

But yeah, I don't think we'll get it. I mean, we could, I suppose. If Jamie and Kieron were filming together that day they were planking, it's possible. But unlikely.

And that was the day all the police were on set and Emmett was shouting, so they clearly are there for Brendan...

I would love this but I bet we get the opposite, something along the lines of Ste being the one to call the police if he really thinks he did it. I wouldnt put anything past them you know

I've no idea why Ste is even in the flat, to be honest. Or Rae.

Brendan would probably flip if he knew Ste was there whilst Declan was still around, so I'm guessing Cheryl asks him round or he follows Rae for whatever reason.

Cheryl probably rings Ste and says Rae's going mental and she needs him to take her away because she's scaring the child.

And I still won't find it very believable if they have Ste completely believe Brendan killed Rae, but that might just be me.

I hope like the last time Brendan was arrested he instantly believes he is not guilty of hurting a woman.
He did not even hesitate.

I seem to remember that he was trying to talk some sense in to a dappy Cheryl at the time obviously concerned for him, even though he had just beaten him up yet again.

I think if Brendan gets arrested and dragged away by the Rozzers he will turn to Stephen who is bound to be nearby and just shake his head. Stephen will know he is not the type to hurt women for kicks.

Even if he believed Brendan could hit Rae I don't think he would believe he killed her or any of the others! Here's hoping anyway!

I want Stephen to be there for him- even if Cheryl is not.

See, I'm thinking Rae says something to Brendan in the street. Or Brendan and Ste have another one of their bitch-offs in public, as you do. Then Rae sees it and goes round to have it out with Brendan and Ste tries to stop her.

But she blabs anyway.

And I'll be gutted if they have Ste believe Brendan's the murderer. But I am expecting a few soapy moments this week. I mean, it's more soapy to have Ste believe Brendan's the murderer, and Brendan threatening Rae is going to be hilariously OTT so he can be thought of as the killer.

As am I. But, low expectations once resulted in an ILY and Brendan and Ste shagged out, half-naked on the living room floor.

So they still have the capacity to surprise us. Maybe.

It's a plot device stebren.

I hope they make it belieable because I can't think of any reason they would be there.

I think they will have him believe it at the start, I think Ste will be the one to see how angry he is at Rae, probably see her threatening to kill her or something and will unfortunately have no choice but to believe it if Silas is really sneaky and even plants some form of evidence.

I think they wont miss the opportunity for the drama of Ste doubting everything about Brendan, blaming himself for not going to the police about Danny and so on.

But I really really hope Im wrong and he does believe him

I want Ste, Cheryl, Warren and Lynsey to have Brendan is innocent placards and go against the rest of the village who are trashing him but I fear we wont get that somehow.

Oh Rae.

Yeah I expect he might believe it, but I don't want him to believe it fully, I don't think he would and it would be a bit out of character for me if they had Ste be all "Yeah, definitely sure he's the murderer." when really, I would think that Ste would have a few doubts about it.

I bet Brendan says he's gonna kill her. Y'know, just to put those ideas in Ste's head.


ETA: Well to be honest I can't blame Ste for thinking the worst of Brendan, I'll be sad if he does but I won't really be annoyed with him or anything cos it's pretty understandable why he would.

Silas is a sneaky git if he plants evidence.

Get your rings out, Rae. He wants a choice.

Lynsey's the one I'll be really angry about. I coud forgive Ste for not believing Brendan's innocent (though I'll be annoyed) but if Lynsey, for a moment, blames Brendan, I hope the bitch dies.


They might have a parting sexytime before Brendan goes.


I like that theory Helen had that Silas (or someone) tries to manipulate Ste into believing it. And he's kinda convinced but not quite. If he has doubts, I'll be happy enough. But if he's calling the police himself, I might actually weep in frustration.

Oh totally. He will actually threaten to kill her and he'll grab her and it'll be all dark and scary looking just to put the idea into people's heads.
