I take it cheryl must be in charge of brendans half of the club then when brendan is in jail /on the run jesus by the time he gets back he will have no club left and didnt gilly have a job at the spa or did he get sacked

Yeah, this. I don't like how she's treated Jacqui but she's been on Gilly's side the whole way through, that won't change now.
I really hope they don't get them involved though. I don't need that in my life.

I dont blame her because thats the way it went at the trial. I cant help but think they are setting something up for Cheryl with all this, some massive fall where she will realise her trust in Gilly was unwarranted and also that she should have actually trusted Brendan and doesnt.
Maybe there is something to look into with Cheryl there.

i think thats bad on Hollyoaks part really i know they had to write gilly out for a bit incase he had gone to prison but they have made her the victim completely when they originally said that vewers would see both Jacqui and Gilly as victims.
Obviously Jacqui has been badly affected by it all, but i hope HO don't make out like Gilly is evil, and i think it would be good to see how he has been affected by everything too.

Yeah I think this is building to a big climax where Cheryl basically has no one left. Lynsey will of course not want to be near Gilly either and thats another thing for them to fall out over. I think eventually Warren and Ste will side with Brendan (or hopefully straight away) and if Cheryl doesn't...

Not in a malicious 'I raped you and lied about it' way but in a 'I've started to remember more of what happened that night and I think I did take things too far' kind of way.
I mean, it was never meant to be a violent act but more about the issue of giving consent when both parties are drunk.
So I don't think they'll villainize Gilly, though I do think he'll realise that he should have stopped and struggle to cope, then follow it from there.
That said, I still think AQ played it as if he was guilty.
Not in a malicious 'I raped you and lied about it' way but in a 'I've started to remember more of what happened that night and I think I did take things too far' kind of way.

I've never liked Gilly and I don't think AQ is great so I can't say I care even if they do villainize him as such!
