It is our poor Douglas who hurt his back while picking up a hoover. Yeah really.

For a start WTF was the point of that whole storyline and he hurt his back pervy Noel, his back, not his arse.
I cant stop laughing at this i just pity poor peejay imagine what he must of felt like when he saw that script its a wonder he didnt quit

I actually forgot all about this or chose to blank it out, haha
It's the reason Doug went straight.

Aw yeah See Doug should have been the love interest (if there had to be one ) would have been so much more watchable.

Also has everyone seen the vid of the six formers? Gotta say Callum seems alright
Little bit of support building up here for Callum I see. The moody outsider.

I agree it's a bit of a shame that people are twigging the Rae thing - it was so strange that the Brendan/Rae row appeared in one set of spoilers and none of the others - they should have pulled it completely! That would actually have been amazing.

And oh, I do not need to see Noel straddling Doug. Seriously. WHO DOES THAT?

You can imagine what all the posts would be in here if we didn't know about the row, or work out she outs him.

I would straddle Doug.

Ok too much information.

I don't remember the straddling, I must have blocked it our or did it not really happen?

The same person who made poor Lee do this

ETA: Aww, no, it could have been the new Coming Out Day. Which has since been replaced by the ILY declaration day.

I do love a shock following by two pages of smilies.

ETA again: I think it was some time in Noel's first batch of episodes, ally.

Apart from Cat Friday.

We don't love those kinds of shocks.

Oh no, that was awful.

Nothing good can ever come from two and a half pages of 'NOOOO' and and

, however, can either be good or bad depending on the situation.

I remember the massaging MrL, just not the straddling.

It must have been too much for my tiny mind to take.

So after it was pointed out on Tumblr, Ste's 'on speed arm dance' needs to be recreated. I'm imagining him doing it with a tie Brendan is inexplicably wearing.

Gareth is gone.

Was he ever real?

Did you guys (mojo/c&s) meet an Emma? She's the new series producer.

Guess GP was just an acting producer after all.

Yay we got a mention - EXCITING!

Yeah we met (well listened to Emma talk) and she was Irish and fab and Emmett's really enthusiastic about her and said he's already had a meeting with her which all seemed good!

Yes! I just read this! I was totally confused really, this Emma woman gave the presentation, and afterwards Daniel said, so, Gareth's gone then, she's the new boss! And I didn't even realise! Apparently DS were asked to keep it quiet until they were ready to announce, which they obviously are now. Ain't it strange!

But yeah, we got a mention. INFAMOUS. Ha ha ha!

I read the entire article and never even clicked that it said there is a new Series Producer.

I wonder if Daniel ever got to do that elusive GP interview before Emma took over?

Oh how bizarre. So who has been responsible for the last 3-4 months?

Is it possible GP was responsible for that horrid period with dream sequences and tacky filler plots in every episode? And when Emma took over, that stuff was phased out again?

Because I did think GP's style was hilariously inconsistent. It was very LA in style at the start, then it drifted away from that again.

LM I read you reaveled yourself may I ask you what is your twitter name?
@ChocB4Dinner

ETA: Oh well, we don't have to worry about GP being against them as a couple anymore. It's Emma now.

Nope, he didn't. I guess he'll interview Emma now though. She seemed very nice, if a bit nervous actually! Said it was her first time talking to the outside world about their plans.

He most definitely did. But that was Kieron's request for Ste should he ever be in a HO Later, and I can't really argue with him.

As long as it's Brendan doing the buggering, of course.

Emma's credited as Series Editor of the current episodes I think and she talked about the integration and the village feel so I'm hoping she was behind that!

Honestly don't know! I said to Daniel, how strange, GP seemed to just be getting into his stride, and Daniel also said he thought the village feel was so much better. So I am massively crossing my fingers and hoping that later stuff was her. Because if it was GP, then we have to start all over again!

But I agree, it means anything anyone heard about GP's views on Stendan, it's irrelevant now.

I'm now just hoping GP took over, introduced silly snake plots and horrible dream sequences, then someone said 'This will never do' and replaced him.

Yeah. Clinging to it.

Because it did seem weird. The show did become very tacky and weird and awful and we were dreading his stuff long-term, then it turned good again.
