Trivia from the Internet Movie Database - Rosie Miller played Rowan Morrison (the missing girl) in the cult film the Wickerman! I draw no conclusions, just point it out, but what a credential!

That is the single most wonderful thing I have heard for several months.

The Wicker Man is absolutely incredible! I am preparing to write a fan letter already. Thanks for that! You've made my day!

She's in my favourite Hitchcock film, Frenzy, too!

I am going to have to have a lie down in a darkened room to recover.

I can't think of any other house on the Square that has been vacated by a family to allow them to move in. Can anyone help me out?”

It was Ians house last time we saw it about 3 years ago. Originally it belonged to the Taverniers- another flop family- then there was an explosion and Ian bought it and the house next door for Cindy and he knocked the two of them into one. She was so grateful for this she had him shot and ran off with the kids ha!ha!
Last night the father said to the mother that the council did the house they way he wanted it. Does this mean that the council went about seperating the two house again? Must have money to burn in Walford Council housing dept. Or perhaps the scriptwriters included it as a reference in case any eagle eyed viewers remembered how the house was last time we saw it!

Frenzy is just amazing! Who did she play? Oh, those gross meals!

Hi sydneyfan thanks for that. For some reason I remember the layouts of houses and when I saw that you said it was Ian's house when he lived there with Cindy I thought no it can't be the layout was totally different but then you reminded me about the house being split in two. Made perfect sense then. No council I know would ever ever have that amount of money to spend (or be willing to spend) on a house for a family. This is something I brought up before how on earth can a council house be so big? Those houses are really nice when decorated properly (Pats vs Sams) and not at all like the council houses I'm used to seeing. Looks like living in a council house can be a good move. I'd never be able to afford a house that big in central London.

Yet another disaster. I watched my first episode with the Miller family tonight and I have to say I hated it - hated them.

The characters were awful, they reminded me of almost every stereotypical family that has ever been introduced into a soap and I found myself fighting the urge halfway through the episode to turn the TV over.

I have never taken to the Ferrieras, but I dislike this family more than I ever did them, they are brash, pointless and actually made me feel uncomfortable as anything. I also never took to Mickey, so when they announced they were going to introduce his family I just shook my head and realised that the show I enjoyed when I was growing up was never going to be the same. Mickey a hunk? In whose eyes - just out of curiosity.

What I see happening with the dad. In a Jim Royle-Esque moment it is just him and his daughter/ son and they have a touching heart to heart which the whole nation finds really sweet and he might cry like when Denise had her baby in The Royle Family. We see his soft side and maybe find out a family secret.
Oh hold on, didn't Charlie Slater do that?

Oh god, they better not turn him into another Charlie Slater! lol

I like them - Eastenders felt very weird today. It was different, more family-oriented - maybe Eastenders is changing, but for the better. It needs to keep up with modern times and I think the rest of the year will be good.

They are a good addition.

But the teenage pregnancy thing is disgusting.

Yes, when Rosie touched Demi's bump, it did not feel right. Sometimes you can get into soaps and think "yes, it feels realistic", but the baby bump on her is terrible.

I love them, I've seen them tonight and I love them, I loved the bit at the end when Derek was like ah they're ok, they're reasonable they......maniacs, an we see them standing as the bed engulfs in flames, like Neighbours from hell! lol Fantastic, that combined with Scary Sarah an EastEnders is on to a winner in my book.

If you're not a big soap fan, then why are you reading or on a soaps forum?

Why won't people give them a chance??? When new characters come into a soap its very rare for everybody to like them straight away give them a week or so and then if you still hate them fair enough and if you love them equally fair but they have been on screen for 2 nights only! I didn't like Karen McDonald at first now think her character is great, thought Tracy Barlow was ok when she arrived first now my hand itches to give her a hard slap. Hate to see her on my screen. Form a proper view of the family by giving them a chance.

I didn't think they were too bad after Monday's episode - I thought they had potential. But now it's gone a bit too far and my heart is sinking. They seem to be going out of their way to offend all the neighbours in a totally unrealistic way. The bed story is completely ridiculous. If somebody stole your new bed you'd 'phone the police, wouldn't you? All this crap about negotiating with the shop and accepting a 50% loss on a new bed. How much did they pay for it FFS? Does Martin earn THAT much money from his fruit and veg stall? And why isn't Sonia more annoyed? I'd be effing furious, but she doesn't seem to care less.

Last night, when the girl was sitting on the sofa, you could see right through that school shirt and you could see the bump. It wasn't even her skin colour and you could see a black belt holding it on!!! ROFL... thought that was so stupid - why couldn't EE see the bump looks totally unrealistic and why they didn't even notice you could see the bump and belt through the shirt?!!! LOL!
