Neighbours - Lynn getting ridiculous
This whole thing with her always turning up whenever Susan and Tom are together is really getting ridiculous. Not only that but she's sooo boring, I can't even listen to her anymore, I always feel like telling her 'Sorry Lynn were you talking ?'. She's such a busybody it's almost unbelievable.
I just hate her

I think she's getting to be a bit redundant now- what with Joe, Michelle and Flick gone there doesn't seem much point to her being there- what with Jack leaving soon too. Seeing as Steph has her little family setup with Max it would leave the perfect opening for a new family if she left. They need a more rowdy bunch in there- like what they made the Skully's out to be when they first arrived- i may regret saying this, but maybe even a family even as far out there as this new Millers lot. It would make things more interesting anyway.

It took me a while to figure out who you meant but I think I've got it, the Millers are an EE family right ?
I think a family like the Deans would be great for Neighbours. Or, this one is a good one : the Goods from 'The Good Life', a self sufficient family. Is there a pool ? They could use it for fish farming |

Yeah, the Millers are the family that came into Eastenders tonight. I think neighbours need to take more risks- maybe they could have a teen pregnancy or something- then again imagine the outrage if Summer got pregnant!
She is the same age as Sarah was in Corrie. They wouldn't be that brave though! I like the Deans, but I've never seen 'the Good life' so I couldn't comment on that one!I would seriously like to see them do something really out there- I don't know why though. It's mainly because no-one would expect it off them.

You've never seen the Good Life ? It's always on ! It was on 2 day's ago on BBC2.
Teen pregnancies I think were all the rage 10 years ago but the world has moved since then thank god. I think if they ditched Izzie, Lynn, Max, and Steph that would be a massive improvement already. |

I know of the Good life, but I've never actually watched it. I don't think they should get rid of Izzy, as although she's not that nice she is great entertainment value! Not to bothered about the others you mentioned though. Anyone else think Jacks dancing is hilarious to watch though?!

I'm not too hot on common bitches, Patricia from Sons & Daughters, yes,
Neighbours Izzie, or Emmerdale's Sadie and Steph, no. |

Erm, never watched Sons and Daughters either.
With the exception of Neighbours all of the soaps I watch are British. I intend to watch this Sunset Beach tomorrow though. I think all good soaps need their bitches though! Corries in overload at the moment! I've never noticed Lyns hair either- either get rid of her or take her out of limbo and give her something to do!

you'd be better off watching S&D, Sunset Beach is well boring. S&D is THE soap, trust me.
It's a common misconception that all soaps must have bitches, it's come to the point that most characters are bitches or bastards nowadays, there's no one to like really, think about it, most characters aren't nice people at all in Corrie, Emmerdale or Hollyoaks. If you have a good team of writers and storyliners you don't need bitches, Shortland St manages perfectly one without any, Neighbours and H&A too even if they have one sometimes. British soaps rely too much on this sort of characters but that's because not much else happens compared to Aussie and NZ soaps. |

Lynn should marry Lou (hes always best when hes with a younger woman..Analease, Cheral) and a gay, or jamican family move in to the scully house. Or even a family with someone in a wheelchair - or anything! apart from white bland 2 legged wooden charactors.

On the whole I prefer the English soaps, but I have a soft spot for Neighbours because it was the first soap I ever watched. It's generally because we have these sort of characters that I prefer ours too because it adds to the mix. Whens S&D on then?

S&D is my weekend soap
Something good to watch on a Saturday. Its on at 5:10am saturday and sunday morning.Regarding SB, it is Far from boring msf! You only saw the first episode didn't you? If you actually watch it for a while you will be hooked! ![]() I do find Lyn on Neighbours to be getting a bit tedious, its like in every episode Tom and Susan start talking and then we see Lyn in the background looking as though she is disaproving. |

I've got the latest on FTP if you want at : 82.67.34.76 no logging required But be warned, more happens in 1 S&D episode than in a whole year of EE or Emmerdale. |

Yeah I only saw the first one via the link.I forgot it started today, I might give it a try tomorrow or later on this week though. But now I've seen a bit of Dynasty, SB will have to be pretty good to stack up against my new American soap benchmark. |

Cheers! You wouldn't believe I had a B grade at AS-Level IT would you?
I would do that but I don't have broadband and I can imagine myself screaming at the computer tearing my hair out then throwing a brick through the screen trying to make it work! Thanks for the I.T. lesson though. I will save that leech FTP thing for future reference- might help sometime. Unfortunately my modem speed is only 34.6kps

Sure, if you ever build a website, that's also how you upload your files to the web server.
