Uhuh ! If we didn't take in calories we'd all stop breathing and all. We'd be waistin' away.

Exactly! For example, a packet of crisps probably has leas calories in it than an avocado, but the former has no real nutritional benefit.

I assume the missing "te" represents the yolk

What is an omelet?

I make omelettes using ALL of an egg, (usually 3) using the following method

I used to have egg white omlettes when I was on weightwatchers. Egg whites - zero points, yolks 2 or 3 points. I used to add mushrooms, onion, tomato all zero points and it was lovely.

What do people do with all the yolks? Unless you throw them out, it's the same calories in the end.

one of the dumbest things I have read today.

An large egg yolk contains around 60 calories and hell a lot of goodness. Instead of using a stupid about of egg white, use two whole eggs which has roughly the same amount of calories as your version of an omelet and pack the rest of the meal out with veggies which you can put in the omelet and having a big salad.

And your heat seems a bit uneven, seems a bit overdone in the middle.

Finally as soon as the bottom is solid, add you veggies and herbs (you want flavour right ?) and put it under the grill to finish. More healthy and taste 10x better

...I've always wondered if it would be possible to easily separate an egg using some sort of funnel device. I have never had cause to separate an egg but it looks like a right clart on!
