She's recording again isn't she? Why do that if she'd decided on the 10 tracks already?

As you've pointed out, having an album full of poor songs is a different situation to having an album that is difficult to sell to the executives.

If it is the former, there is a reason to worry. If it is the latter, I wouldn't be at all worried. Especially not at the moment. I think people just love to be drama queens on here. Many need to get a serious grip. Nothing is ever taken into perspective in the LLAT.

Stuart Bell has been Leona's PR since she won X Factor and is apparently good enough for Paul McCartney, Take That and Kelly Rowland.

Not sure whether that's Leona & Modest or a Syco decision.

She's going back into the studio. It seems like the only logical explanation. Especially at this stage.

I take your point but why did Leona speak about a deal that didn't exist? Didn't she get the memo?

One minute she tells us it's a 10 track album and all sorted, now she wants to record more, sounds like someone somewhere doesn't like the album. I keep getting the feeling Leona is at times out of the loop.

She said she was "pushing for" 10 tracks, not that she had got the go ahead.

I have to say, I can't understand how it got as far as putting the date/cover up and then they pulled the plug.

very disappointing and extremely concerning! But far from unexpected given the response to collide from the public. Yes it's not a flop but far from good enough.

However, a positive can be taken from this.....syco now recognise that there is a problem with Leona's career and something drastic needs to be done to get her back on track. This dance stuff doesn't work for leona. It's nice for a change but not a whole album. I hope they return to her roots. But ultimately what sells Leona is her amazing voice. If we want the cheap dancier stuff we can buy a Rihanna, who unfortunately does it better.

I think its crappy we have to wait, but think GlassHeart will benefit from teh delay. 2 amazing singles before then, hopefully

Hip Hop King you nasty, nasty man! Half way through my lasagne your OS avatar came into my head and I outed you to my neighbour I cant believe you had me guessing for so long! My neighbour, knowing better than to reveal any relief at not being blasted by Glassheart soon, listened intently to our woes and testified that the world indeed must have been coming to an end last night for me to even consider switching Echo off

So No Time is on here too is he? Great! Whilst I obviously wont ask you to reveal him I hope he will do so soon.

Someone somewhere has either pulled the plug or they are not prepared to sign off on the album.

I was one of those who originally felt delaying the album until after Christmas, was a good idea, I still do, what I don't like is this late recording, if the album contains tracks they don't like (for whatever reason) why leave it so late?

Out of all the recording they've done are they unable to find 10 tracks that they think will make a good album.

I do take on onboard the point that some have made about the album being just a collection of random songs rather than a theme, but shouldn't that have been picked up earlier?

Is it possible they want a track to replace Collide now on the album (to prevent Avicii getting more credits) or have they found legal issues with some other songs and rather than go through the hassle have just pulled them? Perhaps someone somewhere has been sloppy in the legal department, so to speak.

She does need to do something before Christmas, I'd love her to do a duet with Jessie J but I can't see Cowell allowing it, she cannot afford to fade away for another 5 months.

That's what I meant. Why leave it until the cover/release date has been put up? I don't mind if they do replace Collide as I don't think it is an album seller anyway.

I wonder what she will perform in Japan?

Fade in the darkness !
We were all so rude towards Avicii....now when I look at his career I can just hope that Leona one day can have some mid size commercial worldwide hit like Seek bromance (by Avicii)....Are we ever again going to see Leona's song selling more than 250 000copies in UK or going top10 in some country outside UK (or Ireland) ?

Ahem Excuse me We were not ALL (rude) about Avicii some of us responded to the vile comments made by Illiterate , rude and offensive Avicii Fans
I still remain though , not really intersted in Avicii`s offerings although I have listened to some, being drawn there by Leona and really only found Collide better for the vocals Leona brought to the Penguine Track
having said that I liked the Lyrics to fade into darkness

and believe me Leona will not fade into darkness

It's a combination of both, if its the former then yes there are major reasons to worry so this is probably the reason why they are going to delay this in order to try and reach the latter. I wouldn't say I'm a drama queen, probably a drama king

Actually April is the prefect time to release an album, November would have been a disaster.

Lets hope they release another single before then.

Actually, they should deliberately leak a track or 2 to gauge reaction.

If it's the latter then it's reason to worry as well. They don't have confidence that it's going to sell and aren't wiling to put their money into the project. As long as that's the case, the album won't be released.

I think it shows why she is best saying as little as possible a lot of the time when it comes to things like release dates. They're always subject to change. Alexandra is getting a lot of stick just now because she "keeps her fans up to date" but that means that the news is always changing.
