That's quite true, but if you're right the song should be going to radio right now and that isn't happening yet, it might still happen and I'd be happy to see that, she can't go until Feb 2012 without a record.

She can't rely on these X-Factor performances to launch a single, in the USA in particular she needs a big radio tour, not likely to happen if she's back in the studio recording again, that's why I don't think there will be a single, also releasing it in the UK and USA at the same time will simply re-create the Happy fiasco that Ryan Tedder mentioned.

Re Leona, this is a worrying time. We've crossed hurdles before but this s*** load looks high. However, as someone posted earlier, if there is a positive to this it could be that they've realised that something is very wrong and needs fixing. Let's hope they do so. My hope is that we get more big ballads on the album.

What I'm not sure of is whether that's what Leona wishes. As she always says she's "excited" about whatever she's about to do, I find it hard to know her preference. Seems to me that pre-XFactor, she modelled herself on the big ballad singers, but having been given greater freedom to self-express, seems perhaps more inclined to go elsewhere? It's all very confusing. Someone said yesterday that they wished someone would stop messing around and return the old Leona. I'm inclined to agree and must confess that watching her XF performances the other day, together with some of her big notes on susequent live performances, I thought "This is the Leona we voted for. This also is the Leona Clive Davies saw and who was introduced to the US and elsewhere. This is the Leona I still want". That said, I will buy whatever Leona produces and know I will enjoy it.

She could be performing ANYTHING or it could be a duet e.g. with Adele - or a contestant - we don't know and your just guessing, we have enough doom and gloom without guessing what the next piece of bad news will be.

Aint been on here for a few days, But 2012 for the album? how depressing! hope shes doing what the saturdays are doing and having 3 singles before the album! Then she can perform the

Tedder made a song and dance about that and he's absolutely right. Well, thats a must regarding launching a single in the USA with the big radio tour - that has to be ultimate goal to launch your singing career in the USA.
The song should really be released within the next 2 weeks at the most - it just depends when (or if) she is performing on X Factor. We are not sure when the X Factor USA will be finished as its started later than the UK X Factor has.

Well if it's a new single I think we all agree that should be going to radio at the end of this month if she's going to perform it on the X-Factor.

Launching a single on the US X-Factor without any radio promotion is sure to fail, there's no sign of any single being sent to radio, you'd think her label would have been quick to highlight that if that were the case. If she's going to be busy recording yet again she's not going to have much time to promote a single AND record a video.

I want a new single but they can't just throw it out there without proper promotion and I can't see them doing that unless she takes a break from recording and that in my view would mean she'd need to take most of October off to promote in the UK and USA.

such a shame this wasnt released...and the whole world dont know about it...hope she tours WW next year and includes this song

Yes, we will have to be patient. The good thing is that we did get that Red or Black performance of Collide in which, though not at her vocal best, Leona demonstrated that she can perform uptempo and retained her sophistication doing so. Would have been appalled if she'd gyrated or however one spells the damn word!

I share your hope that Leona performs RUN both at US XF and in Germany. Watching her performance of it on German Pop Idol equivalent the other day I was struck by how vocally phenominal her performance was. Spine- tingling.
