Do you know who I really think she should take tips from? Kelly Rowland, they seem to be going for similar things but Kelly just has it DOWN to a tee - and it's kinda Leona circa 2008-2010... but with a bit more edge.

I think sometimes she tries to 'take a risk', but goes for something which you just shouldn't even try... EVER.

Maybe she should try some different designers, like Salvatore Ferragamo - he uses a lot of colour in his work, and I think it might be something which would suit her.

Leona NEEDS, not should, NEEDS to perform on X Factor this year. They simply cannot wait until March to get this era going again, I really wish we could hear some news, anything, even if it's a quote from Leona appearing on a website saying "I think the plan is to still release Trouble at the end of this year."

She's gonna perform on X factor next year in November when she releases the album. I just feel it will be pushed again.

She probably is thats why they delayed her album.....

If they intend to release another single, which I think they do need to do, it would really have to go to radio sometime soon and she'd need to get a video ready.

If we don't see anything by the middle of October I think we can rule that out, unless they intend to release a single in December which would be probably too late.

Without going over old ground again, we don't know how many of the album tracks they've scrapped if Trouble for example has been dropped then they may not have anything they feel happy releasing, we just don't know for sure, but I think if we don't see anything by mid October we won't get anything at all.

Leona's schedule for album #3 should go:

September 2011 - 'Collide' release
November 2011 - 'Trouble' UK release (performance slot on XF)
January 2012 - 'Trouble'/other single (depending on Trouble's UK success) US radio and Worldwide release
Early March 2012 - 'GlassHeart'/another single UK release
26th March 2012 - Worldwide release of album (possibly except from America)
April 2012 - 'GlassHeart' (or another 3rd UK single) worldwide release
May 2012 - US album release?

Dont know if they will release new single this year...there really is no point.......
to release 1st single in November and after that wait for 2nd single till March ? that just 2 long I think...especially if first single is not so popular and leave top 40 till end of January......

To be honest, if 'Trouble' is still a contender for the lead single (the label might not be nervous about that song in particular) I don't see why Leona can't just perform it on UK X Factor even if it isn't released until March. It would give her a lot of hype - and if the song/performance proves really popular, it might even be released earlier than planned.

exactly, if it's as good as/better than Heaven - I don't see any problem with performing it early. Emeli was performing Heaven for AGES to build up profile for the single, but obviously she isn't as well known as Leona so it could really bring Lee some hype back. Same with if she performed any other album track.

I think the album is March you'd expect a single in Feb, but I sort of agree I don't think they will release a single, but the down side to that is they lose what little momentum she has at the moment.

I guess they might be thinking we've nothing to really lose by waiting until Feb/March.

Also, been thinking that if she had nothing to promote on UK / US xfactor... she could definitely still perform and build up some hype... on UK xfactor - a duet with a contestant / cover version on the finale / anything really... also, they sometimes do a movie theme week... Leona could sing I See You on that weeks result show... it would still remind people how good she is

I'd go for that, I'm sort of split over a single before xmas, one part of me thinks they really need to rebuild her profile and a good track properly promoted could do well, but I think Syco won't go for it if the album is delayed to March

maybe the delay is so that they have more momentum thru next summer? especially if there are more uptempos?

maybe they have a slot sorted on the brits? (for lead single promo) she did the brit school celebration recently?

maybe they have a song that could be an 'unofficial olympics anthem'... and dont want it out to far ahead of the games?

I'm not completely convince she needs to release a single before christmas, but I'd like to get like a song made for a movie or special christmas song. She needs to release SOMETHING before the new year. Ashanti recently released a song that was made for the new movie 'Dream House' and made it her lead single. I'd like to see Leona make a song for a movie again, especially since I See You and I Know Who I Am were so good, just to keep our fans happy
