I think people become more negative and critical with age. Looking forward to seeing this thread in 20 years.

No, I think the newsreader person introduced her by saying her new single is out now and they played a little clip of Collide beforehand! Oh, and I just remembered, the news person commented how she wasn;t the type of artist to keep churning out the albums and she agreed saying she took time out to do the tour and then knuckled down to the album after. She also said the album was " a collective piece" and talked about how she chose Collide because it was happy and she wanted to release some light hearted happy stuff

I think we should make a list of things to be happy about:

Yes it might only have 10 tracks, but they will be amazing by the sounds of it.[*]And so what if it isn't number one, no artist has every single one of their tracks get to #1, not even GaGa. It's still going to be in the top 5 which will give her an impressive three number ones, seven top five hits in total and one charting in the top twenty- most artists would give their right arm for stats like those![/LIST]

Example starting to gain on Leona. Nothing to worry about but she really needs some good promo so she can sustain #4 for the rest of the week.

I was worried about that too, but in the last update Leona managed to pull away from Example ever so slightly. In basic percentage numbers, at 10am Leona was 7.2 ahead of Example, at 1pm she was 7.1 ahead, at 4pm she was 6.7 ahead, but in the last update she managed to gain some ground and increase her lead to 6.9 ahead. The good thing is that The Saturdays are plummeting on iTunes, at the moment the gap between them and Leona is 21.3, but that was 25.4 this morning and around 35 yesterday. At the current rate, Leona might only be 15 behind The Sats by this time tomorrow.

Great that she's attending GQ, a little bit of promo once her pictures appear in the papers tomorrow.

A quick question. What on iTunes is counting towards Collide's sales? I know the Collide radio edit and the EP does, but does the extended mix also count towards it?

Yes, the extended mix also counts. If all 5 of the remixes charted, then sales from all 5 plus the EP would count towards the sales.

Yeah and the remixes. I think Example's second version of Stay Awake which is at #49 count to his sales aswell though.
