A Cee-Lo green collab would be incredible, he has such a great voice. I do just hope that the collab will be with someone unexpected i.e. not Tedder or Timberlake.

That would be truely amazing, but unlikely I think.

A Timberlake collaboration would be huge though! He is still ridiculously huge in America and when Americans realise that Justin has collaborated with Leona Lewis, they will listen to it and probably buy it. Plus there'd be buzz around the track. Let's just hope that, if it's a huge name, it is released in America and properly pushed.

Itunes homepage as been update and no advert for 'Collide' but theres a big advert for matt cardle to pre-order is single and album which isn't out for like a month... (If you keep itunes store on for about 1min you'll see the big matt ad pop up after examples ad for his album and that)

I take your point about Collide getting her some publicity, I just don't like the idea of not really trying with a record, it's wrong. Any record you release you should try to do the best you can with it, jockeys and F1 drivers know that most of the time they won't be winning a race but they always set out with the aim of trying the best they can to win.

She has people who are supposed to promote her, they need to do everything next time around to maximise her exposure.

It's unlikely that SCD is going to have an X Factor act just a couple of weeks after they do X Factor.

I'd have the single out on November 13th, X Factor on that night and Children in Need on the Friday - otherwise she can't do CiN and that's by far the biggest slot outside X Factor and SCD.

Probably do a shoot for one of the big women's monthlies. Big piece in the Mail on Sunday as well. One November, one December.

Yeah, the blogs and newspaper articles/reviews were really good I remember! The fact that it's a grower went against her on radio. It would have done great following a hit single because they would have been more likely to play it but it was the wrong choice following a 2 year gap because the feedback wasn't too positive after a few spins because it takes a few listens to love it. Reading that back it doesn't make sense but hopefully you get what I was trying to say!

Amazing band, and most of their songs are about break-up which would probably match with Leona's situation.
Also, a while back, the drummer Mark Sheehan said he submitted a song for Leona but it was rejected for being 'too dark', so maybe they've done some other work?

When he interviewed Matt the other day, Chris Moyles wasn't overly flattering when discussing Leona. But we kind of knew that already. I think he'll play her records - but only if he likes them. She'll not be a guest anytime soon.
