Oh wow really?! I was just reading over on Universe that she has confirmed that she's working on a new album. So if the new album's allegedly coming out sometime next year when should we expect to hear the first single? An experimental album sounds good. I get the feeling it might have a Blackout/In The Zone vibe. It'll probably be what Britney Jean should have been. That makes me think of Windows versions. Windows Vista was a heap of junk, then Microsoft brought out Windows 7 and that was what Vista should've been

So true I don't know what happened with Britney Jean another case of her wanting one thing and TPTB deciding o another .

Exactly. I'd love to know what happened to the Charli XCX, Danja and Naughty Boy songs, plus the other William Orbit songs that were apparently recorded for the album. I think some Danja ones leaked but not any others.

Britney in London promoting her underwear line: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ey-Spears.html

She looked great IMO. It's nice to see her looking so happy again

Britney's changed her hair. I think that it looks so much better than the extensions.

Beautiful.

I loved the outfit she wore in Germany. Very sophisticated and businesslike I'm not sure how I feel about the Vegas residency. I have a feeling album 9 will end up being a Britney Jean 2.0 and that she will end up becoming a local performer and a nostalgia act. It would be nice if she did a world tour again and promoted the hell out of the next album. I really hope it'll be a good one and that will.i.am won't be involved. Britney Jean was pants so this new album had better slay me! I wish I could have gone to London to catch a glimpse of Britney

Britney is in a very interesting position.

Her Vegas shows are massively successful to ensure she has another two years there.

And she allegedly has signed a deal for 4 new albums with her more creative control!

I mean her input was there ....just I feel her label interfere way way too much...where was ANY actual promo for the album last year? bar interviews at weird times and radio interviews etc....it was simply bizarre!

Femme Fatale was a modern class dance album....where was the promo?? it was just Electropop Perfection....conceptually very clear driven and MAD! with some insane beats and rhythms.....Wished she has a Marina & The Diamonds - Electra Heart style promo....would have suited her imagery and direction but alas...underrated classic IMO.

I would hate for it all to get overlooked again :-/ .....on another plus i LOVE her recent looks it feels like she hasnt changed at all hope she keeps the look for a while...she suits a neat short cut glammed up like that makes her look more full of life IMO

I really like that setlist but I would omit Now That I Found You and maybe have another song from Britney Jean. Like the idea of the BOMT/Oops mix. Hang on... maybe replace Now That I Found You with a Britney classic like Toxic or even Slave 4 U?

I'm listening to Blackout at the moment. Anyone else think this album sounds better when played at night or in the autumn/winter?

Maybe it's because it was released in the winter or because it's called Blackout? I think BOMT and Femme Fatale sound best in the summer for some reason. Not sure where I rank the rest. They sound great in all seasons. I choose what Britney songs to listen to based on mood, situation, people I meet, where I am, time of year and all that

I've been listening to In the Zone today, opposite to Blackout for me in that I find it quite a summery album, I love the blend of RnB with tracks like Outrageous and Showdown, love the ballads like Everytime and Shadow and adore the pop songs like Toxic and Brave New Girl.
Ooh and I also love what I call the "sexy" tracks like Touch of My Hand and Breathe On Me.

Playing Britney Jean tonight...so underrated I love the album very much! Just so much potential wasted to create an era...but just fell through with Vegas etc....though i am glad she has success there....BJ certainly gets the feels just right for me....it is simplistic in style but the harsh big EDM meets Pure Pop with introspective lyrics really showcase a hidden darkness there...while i wish the Charli XCX, Naughty Boy, Dev Hynes and other Orbit tracks made the cut and saw light of day ...the ones there are great...big hooks, big themes across the 13 songs....just wish the album was handled better!

Ooh I bet you're so excited, you're in too deep! When are you going? I wish I would go but I don't have the time and it would cost a bloody fortune Will you have to sort out all the visa and immigration stuff nearer the time?

I bought a bottle of Hidden Fantasy perfume today! It only cost me €13 I really must stop buying Britney perfumes! I've got loads upstairs. Need to use them more now. I had Island Fantasy on today.

Great One of my friends at college has gone to Vegas to see her! I'm so jealous! I bet you can't wait. Have you sorted out all the visa and immigration stuff (little green form and all that) or do you have to do that nearer the time?

I've applied for the ESTA, which is basically the Visa. It cost £14.
