Am I the only one who thinks 'Me Against The Music' is the weakest song on ITZ??
I like it but it's probably not the strongest song on that album. I'm not sure what the strongest song on ITZ is but I love it I'm not too keen on Shadow or Everytime though.

Well, my favorite is 'Toxic' and 'Boom Boom', but I also love 'Early Morning' (so unexpected!) and 'The Answer' (bonus track in my country). However, I haven't heard this album for almost 2 years now, so I'm not sure what my favorites would be if I listened to it again...

The choreo on HIAM is not that tragic after all.I watched the video again and her moves were cleaner and a bit more flexible than before (still a bit stiff, though). The problem was that the 14 teasers () created TOO much hype that the final video couldn't live up to and that the outfits were not very flattering.

Btw, does anyone think that there are some sets/scenes from the video shoot that weren't included in the final outcome??The guy from teaser 14 is not on the video and the outfit in teaser 9 has some red on it and it's not on the video either.
(yes, I watched the teasers I was just curious...)

haha thank you my gentle viewers

ITZ works so well because in sound she does reach different levels and mixes it up with different styles. I think thats why out of ehr first 4 albums it is by far the strongest fundamentally.

Although at times i do prefer the Britney album in terms of style, ITZ has the edge.

However Femme Fatale and Blackout are the albums fighting it out more. I mean the least faves on both are good

And just when I thought I was the only Britney fan loving the "Britney" album I just love the urban influences on it and it was such a careful step forward after 'Oops'.It's the perfect bridge between her bubblegum and mature years Also, it has less fillers than her first 2 albums, so it showed evolution and that's why I love it.It still has 1-2 cringeworthy songs on there, though, but I love Urban Britney, so I give her a pass

Cinderella is one of my fave songs definitely and Before The goodbye is something else!

It is a slick album! Love the vibe it sets as you play it. The more i think about it the more i think actually it was her bes album of her early 4 albums. Urban Britney was THE Britney. Its like the novelty of her first two albums wore off but this third album was actually....i CAN do this too

The Britney album is perhaps the album i least listen to. I without a doubt do not hate any of her albums to date. But Britney for me has a slightly more weaker albums tracks if you take away with the fantastic singles. But it's a good album because it reinvented Britney from being "The American Sweetheart" and then taking a famous line from her one of her most iconic songs by delcaring "I'm not that innocent" with her future albums.

Yes, Britney has fillers in almost all her albums (bar 'Blackout' and maybe 'ITZ' too), but hey that's Britney I think that all her albums as a whole make sense and provide a solid concept, but I find it very hard to listen to her first 2 albums too, because of the huge amount of fillers.I have listened to those albums barely three times

For some reason, I always connect 'Cinderella' to 'Mona Lisa'.It feels like ML is the sequel of 'Cinderella'; darker, after being hurt and all grown up.The melodies are kind of similar and the overall vibe as well...

I'm listening to Mona Lisa now. I see what you mean.

Am I right in saying that ML was taken from her scrapped album, The Original Doll? Did she make The Original Doll in between Britney & In The Zone?

She made it after In The Zone but her pregnancy with Sean preston delayed it and of course it was scrapped all together

Oh right. I'd love for it to get a release at some point.

OT - I've been watching her pepsi adverts on youtube. I've never seen this one before.

So would I actually. I had no idea of this scrapped album until 3/4 months ago. I love the title anyway. The Original Doll.

I don't think the actual tracks will ever be officially released (maybe bootlegged, though), but the concept will definetely be repeated sometime.Britney has A LOT to talk about, IF she wants to, so maybe she is going to make an album along the lines of OD someday. Some leaked FF demos remind me of OD anyway ('Sorry Adam'), so she still can pull off that concept.

It just never gets old!!!It is SOOOOOO epic!!!The best career montage ever!!!It is so well studied!!It's so sad that my r'n'b' fave will never get a video like that

I hope I don't offend anyone, but I don't really like Pure-Pop much at all, so her first albums didn't interest me. I think One More Time and Stronger are good though.

Britney was a good progression, but the first time I was really ever going to call myself a ''fan'' as such, was around In The Zone.

I think The Original Doll should surface at some point! I think it may have been her really hitting those heights creatively definitely.

But at the same time, we wouldnt have had Blackout

I can understand what you mean
Her first albums are good. But they are not groundbreaking or really anything special. I sometimes question the very high sales that both albums have. I mean 25 million for her first album and 19-20 for her second. From her third album, that was when she began making proper pop music i feel.

Like i always say, sometimes the quantity of sales dont reflect how good the album is.

You get masterpieces that sell very well, and masterpieces that dont.

And in Britney first two albums case....they were monster commercial albums...but in quality not quite so much!

Like Kylies first albums sold unbelieveable amounts in the UK! and they are unbearable Pop. But after she left Waterman her material changed up....eventually for the better

I think the exact opposite. Her first 2 albums are musically mediocre, yet two of the most groundbreaking and influencial albums in newer pop history!
