I always thought that if she did a tour for Blackout it would look like the Circus themed parts of Madonna's Girlie Show. They were darker than what Britney did on The Circus.
Yeah...strangely when she announced Circus Tour...i thought OOH i hope she takes some influence from The girlie Show. THAT was how macabre/eccentricity/darkness can really entertain...and sum up the full era in performance and art!

But with Britneys Circus it was very much Loud and Brash so that everyone who attended would be entertained more by spectacle than JUSt Britney....it was a CIRCUS but it featured Britney.

I think by what i have seen and loved of FF Tour on You Tube is that...it was mainly focused ON Britney and the dancers.

And yeah maybe we will see Darkney resurface, it would be interesting. But that is kinda what I love for Blackout and that era....a dark phase where people didnt know how to react, what to expect etc. and that is what the tour would and could have been i think.

I think The Blackout Tour would have been nuts though. Imagine her travelling around the world with the amount of attention she had that year!

Blond Ambition 2.0 to be honest, but not in the good way.

Yes lets face it an album has never so aptly showcased someones mental state as the Blackout era

In a way Circus tour worked as it combined early Britney whilst keeping the blackout edge

The second we find out Madonna has twitter just bombard her with tweets, I'm sure for the first day she'd be really nice and follow back

Yeah I bought it from itunes, it's a lovely song. The first time I heard it was in Debenhams and I didn't know what the song was but I knew it was sung by Britney. I went online and eventually found it.

I would really love it It definitely has to be better than the usual dirge like Slade and Wizzard. I've been trying to avoid all the usual Christmas tripe this year.

Haha yay! We are unique wooo!

And Blackout is EPIC to blast out....Blackout and Femme Fatale i blast back to back one heck of a lot recently.

Blackout is the darker, underground album, Femme is the lighter, euphoric album and it just melds together brilliantly

I wish Britney really matched her music with her live show promos really...i mean stuff like Radio 1 Big Weekend, glastonbury etc i know she could pull off if she wanted to....imagine loads of Blackout, Femme Fatale and her hits and some covers if Britney was in total control Just neat visuals i have in my mind

I know listening to FF and blackout always reminds me they should have been released together without the mediocre dirge (sometimes good) Circus in between they are sister albums in so many ways and totally equal and revel in each others awesomeness.

On another note i know it's a shame Britney doesn't get to have alot of say she should go independent maybe JT will help her along that path (or at least if only she could )

Yeah very much so, it is a shame both albums are so underrated. Circus had a great deal of attention with Womanizer and the Tour. and as you say despite a few killer songs it was designed for a generic appeal to mainstream Pop audiences and sold much better (4 million or so wasnt it?) than either really and competed with the contemporary artists of the moment too.

Whereas Blackout sold on name alone really due to her media attention at the time....Blackout was its own ironic promoter. PLUS gimme more and Piece Of Me and Break The Ice are kick ass singles. And Femme Fatale also sold mainly name alone despite some Stateside promo and some interviews on radio elsewhere it could have and should have made some massive hits with the album (TTWE, HIR, IWg, TTYH, gasoline, Up N Down, HATLM could have been massive released hits!)

Circus was very much does what it says on the tin straightforward electro pop all glossy and full of appeal but still had interesting moments in essence a more mature Britney, Whereas Blackout was not at all commercial with only a handful of commercial singles and stood on it's own pop merits of innovation and awesomeness and FF was in most ways Blackouts pop commercial counterpart both underrated and brilliant

Very much agree with that. Circus was a commercial appeal Pop record with some interesting underlay (in comparison to a lot out it is still a good all rounder album) and levelled out between eras of her life.

Blackout yeah included such underground sounds. It took on Electropop, Dance, Dub Step, Trance beats and rhythms and some Urban sounds and was very risky and daring all rounder really.

Femme Fatale took several risks, Again incorporating industrial sounds, some underground influences, a few old skool beats and rhythms, some electric guitar riffs on some hits, a mix of a few commercially appealing songs (Hold It Against Me, Big Fat Bass and Drop Dead Beautiful basically) but also some could-be hits and confessional Pop songs within the pacing and beats.
