Very much agree with that. Circus was a commercial appeal Pop record with some interesting underlay (in comparison to a lot out it is still a good all rounder album) and levelled out between eras of her life.

Blackout yeah included such underground sounds. It took on Electropop, Dance, Dub Step, Trance beats and rhythms and some Urban sounds and was very risky and daring all rounder really.

Femme Fatale took several risks, Again incorporating industrial sounds, some underground influences, a few old skool beats and rhythms, some electric guitar riffs on some hits, a mix of a few commercially appealing songs (Hold It Against Me, Big Fat Bass and Drop Dead Beautiful basically) but also some could-be hits and confessional Pop songs within the pacing and beats.
Not wanting to repeat myself but also Circus broke the cohesiveness and consistency of her back catalogue she was progressing then circus broke all that hopeful her next album will keep up with the feel of FF commercial yet innovative and interesting pop but still with huge commercial appeal.

Britney got the Number 1 song for TTWE on DS.
Rob Sheffields of RS gave HIR as the best song of 2011, and FF was in his Top 10 albums.
RS gave TTWE Number 3 on their year-end list.
PopJustice reserved places for HIAM, TTWE and Criminal in the year-end singles list.

Soso underrated....who would have thought it 6 years ago that Britney Spears of all people will be so underrated later on....hmmmm.

But at the same point you read stuff on polls, critical sites and magazines where they rank her music highly now...is it that she is so underrated that she has a kinda culty vibe that is so interesting? Maybe.

It seems that because she's not as successful as she once was, critics are pulling their heads out of their asses and realising that behind all the hype there is quality pop music and it's the reason she's lasted this long.

I think the only reason why she is under rated now is all down to lack of or even No promo at all.

She dont promote like other artists do which i find odd i think her team think she can sell on her name alone when no artist can maybe the 1st single will do well and the album will chart well.

I think for her next album Brit should spend a few months promoting the album then Tour 6-12 months after the album. I think they rushed this era yet again the album was out in march and she was touring in June, so she was rehearsing way before that too.

I'm not crazy about Strangest Love, but it's alright. Nothing special.

No I haven't heard it yet but I'll go listen to it and see if it's any good.

EDIT: Listening now. It's alright but not one of my favourite songs of hers. It reminds me of Shadow off In The Zone. Would make a great Christmas single though.

I listened to FF whilst getting ready on Christmas day. It's a great album. I've just watched the video for Criminal again. As far as I know it is getting very little play on music channels sadly. I think it is one of if not the best video from this album cycle.

I don't think it's had any play on the music channels, at least I haven't seen it. All I've seen on them (well at least the MTV channels and VH1/VIVA over the last few weeks are Christmas songs, hits of the year stuff and chart countdowns).

Ideally I would like Britney to make a return to music in the spring of 2013 with a refreshed sound and image, and actually spend time promoting the album worldwide on TV, Radio, print etc. A more well thought out plan and strategy needs to be put in place to ensure single and album sales are maximised. She needs to come back with a splash! Oh and her dancing and choreography needs to be vastly improved.

In 2012 I would like to see Britney concentrate on her personal life and venture into some acting projects.

Time-Off/End of Conservatorship/Wedding = 2012.
Record New Album = Early to Mid 2013.
Release New Album = Late 2013.

I think that's how it'll go.
Unless she decides to have another baby.
If so, we probably won't get anything until 2015.

Britney won ''Most Improved'' in Perez Hilton's awards this year, for the fourth time running.

I didn't think he was worth posting about, but I thought that was funny.
