dont depress me
Oh come on, it's January, we're allowed to dream!

I'm hoping that listening to her music in the gym is motivation enough!

Looks like Britney could be in the Experimenting stages judging by that twit by Diamonds

Her C-Ship hearing is towards the end of this month so lets hope its good news and she is free, Otherwise we will be waiting another year to see of she is free from it BUT apparently She can fight it if she wanted to.....

I hope the c-ship ends.

I don't think she can get married with it - maybe that's a sign that it is ending?

Even though 2012 was speculated to be the year that Britney concentrates on returning to her acting career... it seems like music is still playing on her mind... The most current RUMOURS doing the rounds are....

1. Britney will be featured on Madonna's much anticipated forthcoming album MDNA

2. Britney has recorded a song with Welsh singer/song-writer Marina & The Diamonds

3. Britney’s recording a song with Shakira produced by Will.I.Am for Shakira’s upcoming album

What do YOU make of all this??

Tbh i think all those are just rumours.

I mean i know Madonna hasn't collaborated with her on MDNA or else there would be much more publicity.

A Britney and Shakira duet would be very interesting but i dont see it happening.

And Britney and Marina too would be interesting but i thoroughly dont think that has happened either.

I truly feel that 2012 will be a year Britney can take off (for 5 months or 6) and just enjoy life, with her family. See gigs and concerts, go to theme parks, travel areas around the world, make pancakes at home and just get inspired for a new direction again

When the conservatorship ends then our Britney in her 30s can begin Will be very exciting to see how she will adapt and evolve really. But yeah thats what i think anyways . Make music when she wants to feel inspired to do so

Britney will not be featured on Madonna's new album. I don't have proof, I just know it won't happen. If it does, I'll be extremely shocked.

I think she could possibly be on Nicki's new album though.

I hope she's not on Christina's. I always get nervous when Max works with others (except P!nk).

AGREED!! I want Britney back with a new album once she is actually inspired and is feeling creative.... I want her to be very much hands on and experimental with her next studio outing very much like her 2003 'In The Zone' album.

Definitely.....I do hope that Original Doll gets a kinda "bootleg" CD release perhaps....like "the era that never happened" style, like what Britney in 2006 was meant to deliver stuff. So we can have in full a version of it....we may never ever get it, or we may get it but in a long time away....maybe even a decade on (4 year wait however) But i do wanna hear what Britney was capable of then really when she had total control.

We had flavours on both ITZ and Blackout, but that middle i do wanna hear

But she is in such a happy place now, her boys are growing up, she has a fiancee who loves her for the person she is and vice versa It is genuine.

I dont wanna rush her....Femme Fatale has catered for me for the next year plus really in terms of material and "what if...videos in my head" haha!

She can comeback to music when she is ready....maybe not even do a world tour and just do album promo concerts like Madonna does during album release month. And visit capital cities....12 dates, mini tour and focus on the music perhaps and videos etc No need for intense interviews either

It would be interesting. I liked how urban flavour her third album was too really. It was like she was changing into a different artist within months of Oops!

I don't think there's been any news on the c-ship - but she attended the hearing, which she hasn't done for the last two years anyway.

I think we might see it ending soon.

NEWS:

Britney is releasing a new album in 2013, according to new reports. Britney will take the year off and begin recording for album 8 in December.

Label execs also say there will not be a fifth single off Femme Fatale.

“The album promotion ended with the release of “Criminal,” and it’s not useful to still release something after the end of the world tour, although the album contract had stated that five singles would be released.”

Femme Fatale is dead but i kinda knew it.

Basically all i expect now from albums is the lead single to be the main promo aspect and then the tour tbh. I dont think they care about album/sales etc. And while its great she is taking time off....i cannot help but feel gutted more wasnt done for Femme Fatale to be honest.

Ah well....methinks they may be getting album 8 ready for summer the following year perhaps, or have material out there by then anyways...we will see.

Rumour has it the conservatorship will be ending in February, with the final hearing being held in April, when Jamie hands control back to Britney.

I don't know if it's true, but it would be great.

I read that i really hope its true

I think tbh even her dad knows he cant control her forever and with her getting married it will look stupid.

Britney will properly be so relieved when it ends. Cause i think it has kept her from branching and doing what she wants to do.

I sound harsh saying this to but i really hope she sacks her team and gets a new one. Larry is obviously still in 98 Britney Mode.

As far as I know, Britney's album campaigns have never been that long. In The Zone and Blackout were both under a year, I think Britney was under a year, Circus was just about over a year by the time the tour ended, and I don't think Oops! lasted really long either.

The only campaign I can think of that lasted a long time was her debut, which was Autumn 1998 to Spring 2000.

Sorry about cutting the rest of your post, but I completely agree with this statement. They've made some progression in terms of how they use the internet and the on-air/on-sale project, but apart from that it's not much. Larry either needs to step it up, or Britney needs to replace her management with young, fresh people who know how to work this shit.
