Watching Britney VS Lady GaGa on Smash Hits. Lady GaGa is number 1 with Poker Face and Toxic is number 2. Anybody else feel that it should have been the other way around. I dont even see Poker Face as one of GaGas best singles and don't think it will stand the test of time like Toxic has.

Toxic is a revolutionary song in more ways than 1,000! So of course it should be he number 1

Also watched Bridesmaids last night....Ive Just Begun was on it....i was like YAYYYY!! haha.

But the film itself is classic comedy! Sidesplitter! If you havent seen it and love quirky, bad taste, mad comedies....Bridesmaids...check it...now!

Yea i've seen Bridesmaids. I loved it. Thought it was so funny. Went to the cinema to see it. Then Britney started playing i got excited haha so loved it even more. Even after a second watch it is still just as funny.

Ah yes get in....missed the Britney AT spent a lot of time caught up with the Madonna MDNA/Super Bowl/Tour Madgeness I thought lets check out Britney!

Must watch Bridesmaids again...its one of those comedies that you can watch so many times and find something new

I don't know why it is but i always look everyday to see if their is any new Britney news. Get excited when hear about new music/tours. Hope she doesn't take too long of a break.

The Madonna performance was epic i just wish Britney would have done something with her. I don't know why people give Britney so much hate because of the miming when even the queen of pop does it. To me its about the show in general not a persons vocal ability.

Finally yes the airplane bit in Bridesmaids is hilarious. I also love the bit where she smashes the cookie and tries pushing the chocolate fountain over.

And it was epic...i mean for 12 mins and no sound checking permitted that day Madonna pulled it all in and gave the best possible for that time constraint and damn what a show. ANd yeah it was more a case of backing track...also Madonna doesnt lip synch unless necessary...and some routines there...i mean cartwheeling/breakdancers etc....no wonder!

And it does wind me up when people slam Brit tho, i mean when so so many do lip synch and have in the past (loads of TV music guests had backing track!) but it doesnt matter....would love for her to do Super Bowl when she is ready! The Queen has....time for The Princess And yeah Me Against The Music/Music mash up would have been killer

Haha yeah....also i love the scene where she tries to get the cops attention in the car...."oooh look im naked!" haha. and the "i took two puppies (flashforward a scene) care jam packed full!

I think Brit will do it when she is ready well i hope so anyway. Hopefully she is out of the conservatorship by the next era then we will know if she is in it because she likes it or because she is made to. I would love her to go back to doing music like In The Zone/Blackout they are my 2 favourite albums with Femme Fatale closely behind.

That just made me laugh thinking of the car scene i was laughing all the way through it. Especially when they laid back and she was like "who's driving"

Those three are what i call defining albums...i mean those three have like, nothing "fillery" in vibe or anything but not only that....they stan out as signature albums for her.

And HELL YEAH! I love it haha....i must watch it again so so soon now

I for one can't see it happening and also I personally don't think it's the right career move for her... she is still at the height of her fame and success therefore this would actually be a step down.... I think stars turn judges on these types of talent shows to either raise their profile or when their careers are winding down.... Britney fits into neither categories.

Yea definitely. I love all her albums though they all have some standout songs on them event though some are so cringey.

Yea do watch it. I watched it a few week back. Have you got the DVD. Speaking of DVDs have you got the Femme Fatale tour. Old news but im still disappointed that they dubbed the audio.

I agree to a certain extent. Don't shoot me down for this, guys! It may well have worked out for the better but I understand him when he says that an "ordinary" person doesn't stand a chance against her management. At that time Britney was a brand, and the "marriage" damaged the image her management had been carefully constructing for years.

Yeah totally....even her first two albums have the nostalgia quality to them....but not in a bad way as such.

But In The Zone, Blackout and Femme Fatale are i feel where Britney broke the mould a lot more...the Britney album did in its own way too, but a couple fillery songs kinda mess the lineup up a bit...still a great album though.

Will be itneresting if Britney does indeed go back to the more Urban/Dance kinda blend again really with those rumours circulating about her hooking up with Pharell etc....it may actually work.

And i dont have the tour on DVD though, i mean what i saw on YT was enough really to grasp it. And it is annoying that they did that definitely.

Yes the UK show would be better for me as i actually watch that show. Plus the promotion for her over here would be great whereas in the uS she doesn't really need it. I just hope next era she comes over here and promotes more on UK tv shows performing rather than doing pointless interviews.

I agree its a shame that she wasn't getting much radio play if any. Radio 1 really annoy me. They will happily playlist every single from an album that Katy, Rihanna, Gaga etc release yet they only playlisted Hold It Against Me and even then i only heard it a couple of times. I dont really know about other radio stations though.

It is but she also refused or did not promote at all it's weird certain dj's play certain music and tend to go with what's popular at the time but they could have really helped TTWE out a bit more
